## Description

Create a defined boundary at a staircase or doorway with the Miumoon pressure-mounted gate. Its adjustable width fits openings from 29.5" to 51", making it useful for a range of home layouts.

The white metal gate is designed for wall-to-wall doorways and banister-to-wall stairs. Four spindle rods and two round banister adapters help accommodate these different installation points.

An auto-close feature shuts the gate after you walk through, while a hold-open feature lets you leave it open when needed. The double-lock design is intended for easy one-handed adult operation.

## Why it’s worth it

Choosing a gate for more than one kind of opening can make it easier to create a consistent boundary around the home. The pressure-mounted design installs without tools or drilling, and the included spindle rods and round banister adapters support use between a wall and banister as well as between two walls. Measure the opening at both the top and bottom, accounting for baseboards and banister shapes, to select a suitable fit.

Need a gate that can also be secured for a stronger dog? The included hardware mount provides an option to upgrade the installation for maximum security. The double-lock mechanism and auto-close function add practical support for busy transitions through a doorway or stair entrance, while the built-in hold-open feature is useful when you want to keep the passage clear.

## Quick overview

- Color: White
- Weight: 10 pounds

The adjustable width makes this a flexible choice compared with selecting a gate for only one fixed opening. Its listed uses include wall-to-wall doorways and stairs fitted from a banister to a wall. The pressure mount suits an installation without drilling, the hardware mount is available when you want the added security option for a strong dog.

## Usage tips

Measure the opening at both the top and bottom, including the effect of baseboards or the shape of the banister, before choosing the gate size. During installation, keep the lock zip tie in place until the gate is fully installed, if it is cut early, temporarily secure it. Once installed, turn the spindle rods to adjust the lock gap until the gate closes automatically as intended. These steps help align the gate with the opening and its closing mechanism.

## Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you need one gate for a doorway or stair entrance and value a pressure-mounted setup, adjustable fit, and walk-through convenience. The adapters support banister-to-wall placement, while the auto-close and hold-open features suit changing household routines. For a home with a strong dog, the hardware-mount option adds another way to secure the gate. Its combination of flexible placement and everyday access makes it a practical choice for creating a boundary where children or pets need one.
