## Description

For homeowners, boat owners, and patriotic families looking for an outdoor flag, this Meryndou American flag measures 5x8 FT. Its spun polyester fabric and reinforced stitching are designed for outdoor display in changing weather. Embroidered stars and brass grommets bring considered details to a classic pole-mounted presentation. Choose it for a prominent flag display rather than a compact decorative accent.

## Where it shines
Use this flag to show national pride at home, on a boat, or during occasions such as Independence Day, Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Armed Forces Day. The 60" x 96" rectangular format creates a substantial display, while brass grommets make it suitable for pole mounting. Its red, white, and blue design also works for everyday outdoor decor, so the display does not have to be reserved for holidays.

The fabric is 100% spun polyester and is described as tear-resistant, weather-resistant, UV-protected, and fade-resistant. These features are intended to help the flag hold up outdoors through sun, rain, and wind. Embroidered stars, double-stitched stripes, quadruple-stitched hems, and four rows of stitching at the fly end add reinforcement at key seams. That construction makes this a practical choice for a full-size flag display, where securely finished edges and visible stitching matter as much as the patriotic design.

Buyers often praise the flag’s stitching, sturdy feel, and bright colors, and some say it waves well in the breeze. Comments about its country of manufacture are mixed, so those remarks should not be treated as confirmation of its origin.

## Key takeaways
The 5x8 FT size is suited to a prominent outdoor display, while the pole-mount format and brass grommets support a straightforward flag setup. Embroidered stars give the design a detailed finish, and reinforced seams are intended to help reduce fraying with outdoor use. The polyester material is foldable and wrinkle-resistant, making it easier to put away between displays or occasions. Its combination of patriotic styling and weather-focused construction makes it especially useful when you want one flag for regular outdoor display as well as holiday observances.

## Care tips
Hand wash the flag to care for the polyester fabric and stitched details. When it is not on display, fold it for storage, its foldable construction makes that simple. For setup, use the brass grommets with a compatible flagpole so the flag can be mounted as intended.

## Buying verdict
A solid pick if you want a 5x8 FT U.S. flag for a porch, home, or boat display, with embroidered stars, brass grommets, and reinforced stitching. Its weather- and UV-resistant polyester construction suits buyers seeking a flag for outdoor use, while its classic colors fit both everyday displays and patriotic occasions.
