Merax 2-Piece King Upholstered Platform Bed Set with Storage Bench, Cream Velvet

The padded wingback headboard gives this king bed a comfortable place to lean while reading or relaxing, and its cream velvet upholstery adds a soft, coordinated look to the bedroom. The set pairs the platform bed with a matching storage bench for a unified furniture arrangement.

Wooden slats and metal support bars form the mattress foundation, so the mattress sits directly on the frame without a box spring. The king-size design also features a horizontal-stitched headboard and rubber wood support legs.

This setup lets you place the mattress directly on the platform instead of adding a separate box spring. The king-size frame measures 85"L x 80"W x 45.5"H, useful when planning its placement alongside nightstands or other bedroom furniture.

Compared with selecting a bed and bench separately, this set brings the upholstered platform and matching storage piece together in a coordinated cream finish. That makes it a practical choice for furnishing a bedroom around a consistent look while keeping a storage bench in the same design scheme.

Everyday use

The wingback shape and padded headboard provide a defined backrest for sitting up with a book or relaxing before bed. Horizontal stitching adds detail without taking over the room, while the velvet upholstery gives the headboard a soft surface and a dressier appearance.

The matching bench adds a dedicated storage element to the bedroom. Its 220-pound weight capacity is a useful reference when deciding how to use it. In a typical setup, the bed anchors the sleeping area and the bench helps keep bedroom essentials organized nearby. The bed frame’s stated capacity is 700 pounds for the king size.
