## Description

For students and apartment cooks who want to prepare noodles in the microwave, this 50 oz MEACOLIA bowl gives you room for a generous serving. Its lid and built-in drain strainer add practical features for cooking and serving. Need a bowl that can handle more than a quick ramen lunch? The roomy format also suits pasta and other noodle dishes.

## What matters most

The 50 oz capacity is the key difference from a compact microwave noodle bowl: it gives you more space for noodles, broth, and add-ins in one cooking vessel. Use it for a filling meal at a dorm desk, an apartment kitchen, or an office breakroom where microwave cooking is convenient. The lid helps contain splatter while cooking, and the built-in strainer makes it easier to drain water from noodles before serving.

Made from polypropylene (PP), the bowl has a modern beige design and a round shape. Its noodle-focused use also works well for preparing other pasta dishes, so it can serve as a practical everyday option rather than a one-purpose ramen container. Buyers often praise its generous size, microwave usefulness, and strainer, and some also find it easy to clean. Feedback about durability is mixed: some buyers describe it as sturdy, while others mention concerns with the handle or peeling.

## Quick sizing guide

The bowl measures 9 inches wide by 3.4 inches high and holds 50 oz. Those dimensions are useful when comparing it with smaller, compact microwave bowls or checking how it will fit in your cabinet. Choose this larger format when extra room for noodles and broth is more important than a small footprint, the bowl’s capacity also gives you space to add ingredients to a noodle meal.

## Usage tips

Use the bowl for microwave noodle meals, including ramen and pasta, and make use of the strainer when a recipe calls for draining water. Keep the lid in place during cooking to help limit splatter, then use the bowl to serve your meal. For a simple dorm or office lunch, prepare noodles in the bowl and add the ingredients you want before serving. Its 50 oz size also makes it useful when you want a larger portion in one container instead of preparing a meal in a smaller bowl and transferring it.

The bowl is listed as dishwasher-safe and BPA-free, which can make routine cleanup and repeated meal prep more convenient. As with any microwave cooking, follow the instructions for your food and microwave, and handle the bowl carefully after heating.

## Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you want a roomy microwave bowl for ramen, pasta, or other noodle meals and value a lid and built-in strainer in the same design. Its 50 oz capacity is especially useful for hearty portions and add-ins, while the 9-inch width and 3.4-inch height give you clear measurements for planning storage. For dorm, apartment, or office use, it brings cooking, draining, and serving together in one bowl.
