Mdavo screen door 36"x80" magnetic mesh door, black polyester

Some doorways need a clear path for people and pets, while still helping keep insects outside. The Mdavo magnetic screen door pairs polyester mesh with a magnetic center closure, so fresh air can circulate through an open doorway. Its black design is sized for door openings up to 36 x 80 inches.

How to use it

Measure the door opening before choosing this screen, it fits door sizes up to 36 x 80 inches, and the door frame is not included in that measurement. For installation, attach self-adhesive hook tape to the frame and position the screen at the top. The screen is designed for use on front, balcony, bedroom, kitchen, children’s room, and sliding doors, giving you a hands-free way to pass through when carrying items.

A magnetic seam runs down the center. The 34 magnets help bring the two sides together after someone walks through, so the opening can close without having to pull the panels shut by hand. People and pets can pass through the mesh, making it practical for a frequently used doorway where a fixed barrier would interrupt movement. When the season changes, the screen can be removed, folded for storage, and washed for later use.

Why it makes sense

The mesh lets air circulate while helping keep flies, mosquitoes, and other insects outside. That makes the screen useful when you want to leave a door open for ventilation without leaving the doorway completely unobstructed. Polyester mesh provides the screening surface, while the center magnets make everyday passage part of the design rather than a separate step of opening and closing a solid door.

The magnetic closure also suits busy household routines: walk through with your hands full, or let a pet pass, and the two sides are designed to meet again. Instead of choosing a doorway covering that stays closed and must be opened manually, this format balances airflow with convenient passage. Its black color gives the mesh a simple, neutral look against a range of home entryways.

Worth noting

For the intended fit, compare your door opening with the stated maximum size of 36 x 80 inches. The frame itself is not part of that size, so measure the opening rather than treating the frame as an additional allowance. Installation uses self-adhesive hook tape on the frame, with no screws, nails, or tools needed for the described setup.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights easy installation, useful everyday function, and the screen’s role in keeping bugs out. Opinions are mixed on durability and closure: some customers say the mesh holds up and the magnets close well, while others report tearing or difficulty keeping the seam shut. These experiences vary, so careful measuring and positioning are practical steps when setting up the screen.

When it makes sense

Choose this Mdavo screen when you want air to move through a regularly used doorway and prefer a pass-through mesh screen over a solid door that needs to be opened by hand. The magnetic center is especially useful for shared household traffic, including children and pets, while the removable, foldable design makes seasonal storage straightforward.

For a kitchen, bedroom, balcony, or sliding-door opening that matches the stated size, it brings together insect screening, ventilation, and hands-free passage in one simple setup. The key benefit is keeping the doorway usable while the mesh helps separate the indoor space from outdoor insects.
