## Description

At 4.5 x 2.6 x 1.6 inches, the MAXUS Dante fits on a desk, workbench, or hobby table where a compact scale is useful for small items.

Its 50g capacity and 0.001g readability support measuring powder, jewelry, gemstones, coins, and other small pieces. The backlit LCD makes the reading visible at the scale, while tare helps account for a container.

Choose among six measurement units, use counting mode for small parts, and power the scale with batteries or a USB cable. That flexibility suits both portable tasks and a regular spot at a workbench.

## Specifications

- Capacity: 50g
- Readability: 0.001g
- Measurement units: g, oz, ozt, dwt, ct, and gn
- Display: Backlit LCD
- Functions: Tare, counting, and auto shutoff
- Power: AAA battery or USB cable

- Size: 4.5 x 2.6 x 1.6 inches

The range of units is useful when the task changes: grams and grains cover powder-related measuring, while carats, troy ounces, and pennyweights provide options for gemstones and precious metals. For counting beads or small components, counting mode offers a different approach than weighing each piece individually. Tare lets you place a tray or container on the scale and account for it before measuring the contents.

For calibration, set the scale on a flat surface and follow the included procedure with the two 20g weights: hold MODE until 20.000 appears, add one weight, then add the second when 40.000 appears. Remove the weights when PASS displays. This gives you a clear setup sequence before use.

## Who it’s for

This compact scale is suited to hobbyists handling small quantities, jewelry work, and tasks involving powder, gemstones, coins, or small craft components. It brings several measurement units and tare and counting functions into a small format, so you can use one scale for different kinds of small-item work rather than choosing a device around only one unit or task.

For example, at a workbench, place loose material in the weighing tray, tare it, and measure in the unit that fits the task. For jewelry or small parts, the tray, tweezers, and scoop offer practical ways to handle and position items. Use the battery option when you need to move the scale between work areas, or connect the USB cable for a desk or bench setup.

Buyer feedback highlights the compact size and useful functions, while opinions on measurement accuracy and consistency are mixed. Some buyers report satisfactory measurements, others describe readings that vary, and calibration experiences range from easy to finicky. Following the calibration steps on a flat, stable surface is a practical part of setting up the scale.

## Box contents

The kit includes the scale, a USB cable, weighing tray, tweezers, scoop, and two 20g calibration weights. The tray helps contain loose material while weighing, and the tweezers and scoop make it easier to transfer small items to the weighing surface. The calibration weights are used in the setup procedure described above.

## Is it worth it?

The MAXUS Dante is a practical fit when you want a compact scale for small-item measuring with multiple unit choices, tare, and counting in one device. Its included tray and handling tools suit jewelry and hobby tasks, while USB or battery power accommodates either a fixed bench spot or a more portable setup. Choose it for flexible measurements of small items where its 50g capacity and 0.001g readability match the work at hand.
