MaxGear Black Felt Bulletin Board, 6-Pack 11.8-Inch Wall Tiles, 36 x 24-Inch

The 36" x 24" MaxGear bulletin board is made from six black felt wall tiles, each measuring 11.8" x 11.8". The felt surface gives notes, photos, schedules, and reminders a pin-ready place to stay visible. Want a board that can also shape the look of your wall? Arrange the tiles in a layout that suits your space.

Where it shines

Use the tiles to organize a home office, classroom, kitchen, or shared workspace. Pin up a weekly schedule near a desk, collect reminders in a family area, or create a backdrop for photos and other displays. The black felt makes the board a practical alternative to a single cork board, with separate panels you can arrange to fit the wall and the way you plan to use it.

The felt panels are also intended to help reduce echoes and noise in a room, and their surface can help protect the wall from everyday wear. That makes them useful beyond pinning: they can contribute to a more organized-looking office wall or a display area at home. The six-piece format gives you room to build the listed 36" x 24" arrangement or choose another custom layout.

Key features

Each square panel is 0.35" thick and made from polyester felt. The six panels have adhesive hook-and-loop backing for wall mounting, so installation does not require nails. Push pins are included. For a more secure hold on displayed items, the product instructions recommend inserting pins at a 45-degree downward angle.

The panels can be positioned separately, making it easier to adapt the display to your wall rather than relying on one fixed-size board. Buyers often praise the appearance and ease of arranging the tiles. Feedback on wall adhesion is mixed: some report that the panels stay in place, while others mention panels falling or adhesive damaging the wall. Follow the installation diagram and consider the wall surface when choosing where to mount them.

Usage tips

Plan the tile arrangement on the wall before mounting, then follow the installation diagram for the adhesive backing. When adding or removing a push pin, press the felt board with your hand to help keep the panel steady. If you need to remove adhesive from the wall, the product instructions suggest using a hot hair dryer to help release it. For display items, angle pins downward as directed rather than inserting them straight in.

Is it worth it?

For anyone who wants a pin board that can be arranged from individual felt tiles, this set combines everyday posting space with a clean black wall display. Its six-panel layout works well for organizing reminders or creating a photo and note area in a home office, classroom, or other shared space. Choose it when a customizable felt surface suits your wall better than a single-piece cork board.
