## Description

For people working with sensitive information in shared offices or other high-traffic spaces, a monitor privacy filter can help keep on-screen content from view at an angle. This Mamol 23.8-inch filter is designed for widescreen monitors with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

The two-pack gives you filters for two compatible screens. Each one has a reversible glossy and matte finish, so you can choose the surface that best suits your workspace.

Microlouver technology narrows the viewing angle, while the removable design offers two ways to attach the filter. Match the listed dimensions to your monitor’s visible screen before ordering.

## Where it shines
In an open office, reception area, or other shared setting, the privacy filter helps reduce side-angle visibility of what is on your screen. The manufacturer describes visibility as blocked at around 30 degrees, with the screen blacking out completely near 60 degrees. This can be useful when working with private documents or account information while others are nearby.

The filter measures 20.75 inches wide by 11.68 inches high and is intended for 23.8-inch, 16:9 monitors. It is listed as compatible with monitor brands including Dell, HP, Samsung, Lenovo, LG, Acer, ASUS, Toshiba, and ViewSonic. Because screen dimensions can vary, compare your monitor’s screen width and height with the filter dimensions for a closer fit.

## Key takeaways
The PET filter has two usable sides. The glossy side is described as providing greater clarity and privacy, the matte side is designed to reduce glare and distracting reflections. The product also claims to filter 99.9% of UV rays and suppress 98% of blue light, adding those features to its privacy function.

For installation, clear adhesive stickers attach the filter directly to the monitor screen. Slide-mount tabs provide a removable alternative for monitors with a raised bezel, making it easier to take the filter off when you want an unobstructed display. The package includes installation accessories and instructions.

Buyer feedback often highlights the privacy effect and convenient installation. Experiences with adhesion, fit, screen clarity, and glare reduction are mixed, so careful alignment with the screen dimensions and choosing the preferred finish are useful parts of setup.

## Cleaning & care
The filter is described as washable and reusable. Its surface enhancement layer is designed to help protect against scratches and fingerprints. For routine care, remove the filter using its chosen mounting method and wash it as needed, then return it to the monitor. The reversible finish lets you switch between the glossy and matte surfaces as your workspace or viewing preference changes.

## When it makes sense
Choose this two-pack when you want privacy filters for two 23.8-inch widescreen monitors, or a spare for another screen with matching dimensions. Compared with a fixed privacy cover, the removable slide-mount option offers a practical way to take the filter off and put it back on a monitor with a raised bezel. For example, in a shared office, you can use the privacy filter while handling work documents, then remove it when a wider viewing angle is needed. Its combination of side-angle privacy, reversible finishes, and flexible mounting makes it suited to everyday desktop work in visible or shared spaces.
