## Description

A fleece lining and windproof design help make the Malier 1 dog coat a practical layer for cold-weather outings. Reflective strips on both sides add visibility in low light, while the back pocket and leash hole bring useful details to everyday walks.

The XX-Large coat is red, made from polyester, and designed with an adjustable fit. Choose it for a dog that needs a warm layer with room to move, if your priority is rain protection, a water-resistant coat is a different type of choice.

## On-body feel

The fleece lining adds a soft layer for winter walks, and the lightweight design is intended to let dogs move comfortably. An adjustable fastening around the belly helps you settle the coat into place, while the full-coverage cut offers warmth across the body. The round neck and leash opening at the back make it easier to incorporate into a regular walking routine.

Buyers often praise the coat’s soft feel, warmth, and sturdy construction, and some say it stays in place during walks and runs. Fit feedback is mixed, with some customers finding it runs small. For a more comfortable fit, measure your dog and choose a larger size if the measurements are close to the upper limit.

## Where it shines

This coat is designed for winter outings when a dog needs an extra layer against cold and wind. The reflective strips on both sides can help make your pet easier to spot in low-light conditions, such as on an early morning or evening walk. The back pocket adds a distinctive finishing detail, and the leash hole lets you attach a leash through the coat rather than around it.

For a quick trip outside, the adjustable belly fastening makes the coat easier to put on and take off. For longer walks, its fleece lining and flexible, lightweight design make warmth and freedom of movement part of the same layer. It suits owners looking for a winter jacket with practical walking details, rather than a simple fabric cover.

## Practical questions

**How should I choose the size?** Measure your dog and compare the measurements with the coat’s sizing. The listed neck size for this XX-Large version is 22 inches, if your dog’s measurements are close to a size limit, choosing the larger size is recommended for comfort.

**Can I wash the coat in a machine?** Yes. The care instructions specify machine washing, making it straightforward to clean after regular outdoor use.

**What helps with visibility on a walk?** Reflective strips on both sides are designed to make the coat easier to spot in low light. They’re a useful detail for walks when natural light is limited.

## Is it worth it?

For dog owners who want a fleece-lined winter coat with reflective details and practical features for walks, the Malier combines warmth, an adjustable belly fastening, and a leash opening in one wearable layer. Its XX-Large size and 22-inch neck measurement give you specific sizing details to use when choosing a comfortable fit.
