## Description

## How it fits

If you want to disguise marks on a dishwasher without changing the appliance, this starfish-and-shells cover is designed to dress up the front panel.

It measures 23 x 26 inches and can be trimmed to fit, so the listed size is a starting point rather than a guaranteed match for every door.

The key requirement is a magnetic appliance front. Without having tried it, the practical point to keep in mind is that the listing specifically says to check this before ordering, a nonmagnetic surface may not hold the cover as intended.

It’s a great fit if you have a compatible metal dishwasher and want a decorative way to cover scratches, dents, or other visible marks. Picture the front panel standing out in a beach-themed kitchen instead of drawing attention to scuffs. Could a decorative cover solve that without replacing or refinishing the appliance? That’s the use this product is aimed at.

It can also be used on a refrigerator, cabinet, washer, or dryer, but the listed magnetic attachment means surface compatibility still matters. Measure the area first, then trim carefully. The cover is removable, according to the listing, although it doesn’t explain how it behaves on every surface or after repeated removal.

## Pros

The main advantage is a quick visual change: the seashell and starfish design adds a coastal motif while covering some existing blemishes. Trimming the panel to size gives you more flexibility than a rigid, fixed-size decoration, and the surface can be wiped with a damp cloth or hand-washed in cold, soapy water and air-dried.

Compared with leaving a marked appliance front exposed, this offers a decorative cover, compared with replacing the appliance, it focuses on changing the appearance rather than the appliance itself. That distinction matters: it can conceal visible wear, but it won’t repair dents or scratches underneath.

Better avoided if your dishwasher front isn’t magnetic, or if you need an exact factory-style finish. Trimming also takes care: cut too much and the cover may no longer cover the area you wanted to hide.

## Spec sheet

The product description calls the material both self-adhesive and magnetic composite, and describes measuring, trimming, and attaching it. Check the installation directions and the appliance surface before fitting it, the stated size may need to be cut down.

## Is it worth it?

This cover makes sense if the front of a magnetic dishwasher has cosmetic marks you’d rather hide, and you like the coastal print enough to make it part of the kitchen’s look. Its value is in a visible refresh and a customizable fit, not in restoring the appliance or providing a permanent repair.

Skip it if you can’t confirm magnetic compatibility, want an unpatterned finish, or would rather address the damage itself. If the surface and dimensions line up, it’s a straightforward decorating option, if either is uncertain, leaving the appliance as is or choosing a nonmagnetic decoration is the safer approach.
