## Description

The 4G cellular connection lets the MagicEagle H1-New send photos and video to the app, so you can check on a wildlife area without relying on a nearby Wi-Fi network. Its solar panel and built-in 13,000 mAh battery support outdoor monitoring with less need for hands-on power management.

A 5MP sensor, 2K video, and no-glow infrared night vision make it suited to observing wildlife after dark as well as during the day.

## What stands out

A motion-triggered capture system records activity with a listed 0.3-second trigger speed, while the 108-degree viewing angle covers a broad section of the scene. At night, 940 nm no-glow infrared illumination is designed to avoid visible flash that could disturb animals. The stated night vision range is 90 feet, giving the camera a practical role on a trail, near a feeding area, or along the edge of a property.

Cellular operation uses cloud SIM technology, so there is no physical SIM card to install and the camera does not depend on Wi-Fi. App alerts and live view let you check activity remotely, the camera also supports AI wildlife recognition and organizes activity information such as location, frequency, temperature, and humidity. A data plan is used for cellular transmission, with a free 100 MB activation offer described for new devices.

## Key takeaways

The camera is designed for outdoor placement and has an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance. Its Army Green finish and tree-mount format suit discreet placement in a wooded area or on a property boundary. A 32GB microSD card is included, and the camera supports microSD cards up to 256GB, giving you local storage alongside cellular access.

For longer placements, the included solar panel works with the built-in battery. The package also lists a mounting kit with a belt, making it easier to secure the camera to a suitable tree or mounting point. Buyers commonly describe setup as easy and appreciate the image quality, though feedback on night vision is mixed. That makes the app-based viewing and the no-glow infrared feature especially relevant when choosing a camera for regular wildlife monitoring.

## Best use cases

This model suits hunters tracking deer movement, wildlife watchers monitoring a trail, and property owners who want cellular camera alerts outdoors. For example, place it facing a game trail and use app access to review activity without making frequent trips to the camera. Compared with a basic trail camera that stores footage for later retrieval, the cellular approach is useful when remote access and notifications matter. A non-cellular model may suit a site where app transmission is not needed, here, 4G connectivity is central to checking footage from a distance.

## Before you decide

**Does the camera need Wi-Fi or a physical SIM card?** No. It uses 4G cellular connectivity with cloud SIM technology, so it does not require Wi-Fi or a physical SIM card. Cellular data is used to transmit photos and video through the app.

**What storage does it support?** A 32GB microSD card is included, and the camera supports microSD cards up to 256GB.

**Can it be used outside the United States?** It is designed for use in the 50 U.S. states. The stated coverage excludes Puerto Rico and other countries.

## When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want remote wildlife or property monitoring with solar-assisted power, app access, and no-glow night capture in one outdoor camera. The 4G connection helps you check activity away from the installation site, while the wide viewing angle and motion-triggered recording support practical coverage of trails and other regular wildlife routes.
