Lyrically Correct LC20208 DRIP Waterproof '90s & 2000s Hip-Hop & R&B Card Game

The essentials

Bring a music trivia match to a pool party, beach day, or backyard cookout with Lyrically Correct DRIP. Its waterproof cards are made for outdoor gatherings where splashes and wet hands are part of the setting. The deck focuses on '90s and 2000s hip-hop and R&B, turning familiar lyrics into a team game. With 140 trivia cards and 10 challenge cards, it offers plenty of prompts for a nostalgic group session.

Players split into two teams, draw a card, and give the correct lyric to score a point. Challenge cards add a change of pace, while singing is optional: players can simply say the answer. The team with the most correct answers wins. The music lineup draws on artists including TLC, Mary J. Blige, Outkast, Usher, Missy Elliott, Boyz II Men, Wu-Tang Clan, and The Notorious B.I.G., making the deck a natural fit for gatherings where people enjoy revisiting songs from that era.

For a get-together that moves between the pool, patio, and table, waterproof cards offer a practical alternative to a game intended only for dry indoor play. The theme also gives music fans an easy starting point for friendly competition and shared throwback memories.

Usage tips

Divide the group into two teams, then take turns drawing cards and answering the lyric trivia. A team can consist of one player or several, so the game works for a small match or a larger gathering. Keep a timer handy for play, a cell phone timer can be used. Singing along can add to the fun, but it is not required to earn a point.

The cards are in English, and the game is designed for two or more players. Set it up for a beach outing, poolside afternoon, barbecue, camping trip, or indoor game night. If the gathering includes people with different levels of '90s and 2000s music knowledge, teams let them play together rather than needing everyone to compete individually. The mix of trivia and challenge cards gives the host a straightforward way to keep the group involved as turns pass from one team to the other.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the deck available for casual get-togethers where a shared activity is more engaging than a conversation prompt alone. At a cookout, it can give guests something to play between meals, on a beach or pool day, its waterproof design makes the music trivia suitable for a wet setting. For a themed night, build the gathering around the featured hip-hop and R&B era and let the cards guide the rounds.

This is a music-trivia game rather than a general-knowledge deck, so its appeal centers on recognizing lyrics and enjoying the artists and songs associated with the era. The challenge cards add variety to that core format, while the team setup makes it easy to include a group. It suits adults who want a social game with a clear theme, simple turn-taking, and outdoor-friendly cards.
