## Description

For birthday cakes, cupcakes, and bee-themed sweets that need a ready-made edible accent, Lucks Dec-Ons add molded sugar bees without requiring piped decoration.

This assortment contains 176 bumble bee decorations, each listed as 1 inch. Their shaped design gives cakes and other treats a recognizable bee motif.

The sugar decorations are molded and hand-painted with edible food colors. Use them to finish a party dessert table or add a coordinated detail to individual cupcakes and cookies.

## Benefits

Molded bees bring dimension to a cake or cupcake in a way that piped icing or a flat printed decoration does not. Place them as individual accents or arrange them across a larger dessert to carry a bee theme through the display. They can also complement honey-inspired cakes and other sweets where a small bee motif fits the design.

The assortment includes 176 pieces, making it practical to decorate a group of cupcakes or add matching details across several treats. The product is made primarily from finely granulated sugar, shaped into decorations, then hand-painted with edible food colors. Lucks states that the decorations are designed for demanding wholesale settings, including freezing and thawing without color bleed or product degradation. They are Orthodox Union Kosher Certified.

## Highlights

The outside box is shrink-wrapped, and the sugar pieces are sandwiched between foam layers inside to help protect them during packaging. The stated shelf life is five years. Some breakage can occur with sugar decorations, if a piece breaks, the broken parts can be placed together on a cake.

Buyers often praise the bees’ appearance and describe them as a fun fit for bee-themed parties, cookies, and cake pops. Some mention that they look like real bees, while feedback on size is mixed. The listed dimensions are 0.65 inches wide by 0.3 inches high, and the product name describes the assortment as 1 inch, so consider the shape and placement when planning a detailed design.

## Practical tips

Set the decorations into the finished dessert where they will be visible, arranging them to suit the cake’s layout or placing one on each cupcake. Their molded shape makes them useful when you want a bee detail without forming each bee from icing. For the best presentation, handle the sugar pieces carefully and keep the foam packaging available for storage.

For allergen-aware serving, the manufacturer identifies egg whites as an ingredient and says the production facility also makes products containing eggs and soy. The facility does not use wheat, milk, fish, shellfish, peanuts, or tree nuts, and Lucks describes its products as gluten-free. Check these details against the needs of anyone being served.

## When it makes sense

Choose this assortment when a dessert needs a consistent bee theme across multiple servings, from birthday cupcakes to cookies or a centerpiece cake. The molded, hand-painted sugar design offers a ready-to-place alternative to creating bee shapes individually with frosting, while the 176-count pack supports decorating a set of treats. It is especially useful when the bee motif should be easy to recognize and repeated throughout the display.
