## Description

When kitchen cleanup means separating recycling from general waste, a dual-compartment bin keeps both streams in one place. The Lovewind has two 11-gallon sections for straightforward sorting without adding a second standalone bin.

Its black, fingerprint-resistant stainless steel finish and rectangular shape suit a kitchen or other shared household space. A step-on pedal lets you open the lid hands-free while carrying scraps or packaging.

Would a quieter close and a lid that can stay open make everyday sorting easier? This bin combines soft-close operation with a stay-open position for longer kitchen tasks.

## Best use cases
Use the two compartments to separate recycling and general waste during meal prep, cleanup, or routine household disposal. Each section has a removable inner bucket, so you can lift out waste for emptying and clean the bin more easily. The product is also described for food waste management and use in dining rooms, garages, home offices, and study rooms.

The anti-tip base and pet-proof design are intended to help keep the bin in place in households where curious pets may investigate. For a kitchen where sorting is the priority, the two-compartment layout keeps both waste types close at hand, the included sorting stickers can help identify each side.

## What you’ll notice day to day
The wide pedal offers hands-free access, which is useful when your hands are full or you are handling food scraps. Soft-close lids help avoid a loud slam, while the stay-open position is handy when sorting several items or cleaning up after a meal. The brushed stainless steel surface is designed to resist fingerprints and can be wiped clean.

Buyers often praise the bin’s capacity, appearance, and everyday functionality, and some appreciate the soft-closing lids and sorting labels. Feedback is mixed on durability and how securely bags stay in place, so these points may matter when comparing household waste-sorting setups.

## Before you decide
**How is the capacity divided?** The bin has two separate 11-gallon compartments, for 22 gallons total. This gives you distinct sections for recycling and general waste.

**What size bags does it fit?** It is compatible with 13-gallon trash bags. The two removable inner buckets make each compartment accessible when replacing a bag or emptying waste.

**How much space should I allow?** With the lid closed, the bin measures 25.3 inches long, 15.8 inches wide, and 25.2 inches high. The lid reaches 38.2 inches high when open, which is useful to account for when positioning it beneath cabinets or shelves.

## When it makes sense
It suits you if you want recycling and general waste organized in one kitchen station, with a separate 11-gallon compartment for each. The pedal access, removable buckets, and quiet-close lid support practical daily sorting, while the black stainless steel finish gives the bin a clean, coordinated look in a busy household.
