## Description

For NVIDIA SHIELD TV owners who need a replacement remote, the LOUTOC TX4-P3700 combines voice search with everyday playback and navigation controls. It is designed for SHIELD TV and SHIELD TV Pro models from 2015, 2017, and 2019, with compatibility requiring the latest SHIELD Experience.

Use the voice search button to speak a request, find shows, launch apps, or control TV volume. The remote’s listed maximum range is 50 feet, giving you room to navigate from your usual viewing spot.

## Tech summary

This is a 12-button voice remote for NVIDIA SHIELD TV and SHIELD TV Pro streaming media players. Voice search gives you a spoken way to look for content and open apps, while the buttons provide a physical alternative for regular navigation. That combination can be useful when you want to search without typing or move through menus with familiar controls.

The remote measures 5.9 inches long, 1.49 inches wide, and 0.47 inches high, and weighs 1.4 ounces. For buyers choosing between a replacement remote and a basic remote without voice search, the TX4-P3700’s voice feature is the key distinction. What would make content search easier from your seat? Press and release the voice search button, then speak your command.

## Tips for day-to-day use

For pairing, hold the remote within 2 feet of the SHIELD TV. Press and hold the Select button until the remote light flashes, it should connect after a few moments. If you are setting it up with a SHIELD TV, make sure the device is updated to the latest SHIELD Experience for the stated compatibility.

The remote uses two AAA batteries, which you’ll need to provide. Once paired, use voice search to find a show or launch an app, then use the buttons to navigate. Buyers often describe setup and everyday use as straightforward, though feedback on functionality and compatibility is mixed. The model is intended for the listed NVIDIA SHIELD devices, so match it to that player family when choosing a replacement.

## What you get

The package includes one voice remote and a user manual. The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included. Keep the manual nearby during setup for a quick reference to the pairing steps.
