## Description

The Lormandy S2 navy water filter straw has a compact 8-inch body, making it easy to pack for hikes, camping trips, and travel. Its lightweight, portable design gives you a personal filtration option to carry in a pocket or attach to a backpack.

Use the straw to drink directly from a stream or lake, or place it in a water bottle and sip. It is also designed for gravity-fed use with the included water bag and hoses, so you can choose a setup that suits your stop outdoors.

Made from BPA-free ABS, the filter is designed to remove particles and improve taste. After repeated use, backflush the straw to help keep it clean and prevent clogging.

## Worth noting

The S2 navy combines a personal drinking straw with accessories for a more flexible setup. The package includes one water filter, a hanging rope, a large water bag, a climbing buckle, and two hoses. The bag and hoses provide an option for gravity-fed filtration, while the straw itself can be used directly at a water source or in a bottle.

At 8 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 1.2 inches high, its compact shape is suited to packing alongside outdoor essentials. That makes it a practical alternative to carrying a larger filtration system when you want a personal filter for hiking, camping, or travel. The product is intended for potable drinking water, use the straw according to its setup and care instructions.

Buyer feedback describes the filter’s quality positively, while reports about reliability are mixed. Some customers say it works well, and others mention issues including clogging. Backflushing after repeated use is part of the stated care routine and helps keep the straw clean.

## Best use cases

For day hikes and backpacking, the compact straw offers a portable way to filter water for individual drinking. At a campsite, the included water bag and hoses give you a gravity-fed setup to use when you prefer not to drink directly from the source. It can also be packed for fishing, hunting, travel, or emergency preparedness, where a personal filter is useful as part of a broader set of supplies.

Compared with a larger filtration system intended to serve a group, this straw focuses on a compact personal format. Choose it when portability and the option to drink from a source, bottle, or gravity-fed setup are more useful than a larger shared system.

## How to use it

Drink through the straw directly from a stream or lake, or fill a water bottle and insert the filter before sipping. For gravity-fed use, set up the included water bag and hoses with the filter. After multiple uses, backflush the straw to help clear it and prevent clogging. Keeping this care step in your routine supports the filter’s intended use on outdoor trips and while traveling.

The straw’s simple, adaptable setup also makes it useful for practicing basic outdoor water-filter use. Pack the filter with the accessories that fit your outing, and follow the product’s instructions for setup and maintenance.

## Is it worth it?

The Lormandy S2 navy is a useful choice for someone who wants a compact personal water filter with more than one way to drink: directly from a source, from a bottle, or through a gravity-fed arrangement. Its BPA-free ABS construction, portable dimensions, and included water bag, hoses, rope, and buckle give it practical flexibility for hiking, camping, travel, and emergency kits. If a lightweight filter for personal outdoor use is the priority, this combination of carry-friendly size and adaptable setup is the main reason to consider it.
