LOOBANI Waterproof Blanket, 60 x 80 inches

For pet owners who want to protect a couch or bed without putting a stiff-looking cover over it, the LOOBANI blanket combines a soft top layer with a waterproof barrier. Its flannel-and-sherpa construction also makes it usable as a cozy throw when your dog settles in beside you, rather than something you only bring out for messes.

The 60 x 80-inch size is listed for a twin bed, but it can also be draped over furniture or taken along for travel and camping. Keep in mind that a blanket is not a fitted mattress cover: how much surface it protects depends on how you place it.

Quick sizing guide

At 60 x 80 inches, this version is intended for a twin bed and can cover a section of a sofa or other seating. For a quick couch setup, spread it across the cushion and backrest where your dog usually curls up, when it needs washing, lift the blanket away rather than cleaning the upholstery itself. If you want full coverage over a larger bed or sofa, the listed size alone may not provide it, and the product information does not give mattress-depth or furniture-fit measurements.

It is also reversible, so you can choose the smooth flannel side or the fluffy sherpa side depending on the feel you want. That’s useful when the same blanket needs to work as furniture protection and as a comfortable place to lie down. You’ll appreciate it if you want one cover that can move between a bed, couch, and trip. It may not suit you if you need a fitted protector that stays anchored around a mattress or covers every edge of a large piece of furniture.

Pros

• Two different textures give you a smooth flannel face and a warmer sherpa face.
• A TPU layer is designed to block moisture from reaching the surface underneath, including spills and pet accidents, according to the maker.
• The blanket can be used on beds and sofas or packed for travel and camping, so it is not limited to one spot in the home.
• Care instructions call for machine washing in cold water and tumble drying on low, ironing is not recommended.

One practical distinction: this is a soft, flexible blanket, not a rigid waterproof mat. That makes it easier to drape over a couch or share with a pet, while a fitted or heavier-duty protector may make more sense when you need secure coverage that cannot shift. And if moisture reaches an uncovered edge, the blanket’s stated barrier does not mean the furniture around it is protected too.

Final verdict

This LOOBANI blanket makes most sense for someone who wants a soft, washable layer for a twin bed, sofa, or pet’s favorite resting spot, with a moisture barrier as an added safeguard. The reversible fabrics give it a more comfortable everyday role than a basic protective sheet, and the stated wash instructions are straightforward. The tradeoff is coverage: it is one loose blanket, not a fitted solution, and the listing does not specify how it attaches or how much of a particular mattress or couch it will cover. Choose it when flexible, cozy protection is the priority, look elsewhere if exact fit or secured edge-to-edge coverage matters more.
