## Description

## Quick overview
Some gaming setups call for a wired connection, while others benefit from the freedom to move without a headset cable. The Logitech G PRO X Wireless pairs LIGHTSPEED wireless with 50 mm PRO-G drivers and DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround sound, bringing positional game audio and voice chat into one over-ear headset. Its detachable microphone and included USB wireless adapter make it ready for a wireless gaming setup.

A listed battery life of 20 hours supports extended play between charges. The headset is designed for gaming and works with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch, console audio is wireless stereo, with the Switch connection used while docked.

## On-body feel
Memory foam ear pads are included in two finishes: leatherette pads are installed, and extra cloth pads offer a softer, breathable alternative. Both options let you choose the feel that suits your session. The headband is steel-reinforced, with an aluminum fork, combining padded contact points with a structure made for regular use.

Buyer feedback on comfort and sound is mixed: some appreciate the fit and audio, while others mention discomfort during longer sessions or hiss. Microphone and durability feedback also varies. Battery life is a frequent positive, giving shoppers a useful point of comparison when weighing wireless play against a wired headset.

## Getting the most from it
The 50 mm PRO-G drivers are designed to deliver clear sound imaging and enhanced bass response, while DTS Headphone:X 2.0 uses object-based surround audio to help convey in-game position and distance. For games where footsteps and environmental cues matter, that combination puts more focus on directional sound than a basic stereo presentation. What matters most in your setup: hearing the game clearly, communicating with teammates, or both? The detachable microphone supports voice chat, and Blue VO!CE filters provide options for shaping your voice.

For Blue VO!CE filters and DTS advanced audio features, connect to a Windows PC and use Logitech G HUB. G HUB also lets you adjust audio and microphone settings and update drivers. The USB LIGHTSPEED adapter provides the wireless connection, and the included USB-A to USB-C cable is for charging. A 3.5 mm jack is also listed among the connectivity details.

## When it makes sense
Choose this headset when you want wireless gaming audio, an over-ear fit, and a microphone for team chat in a single setup. It suits players who value positional audio and the ability to select between installed leatherette pads and extra cloth pads. Compared with a wired gaming headset, its LIGHTSPEED connection offers a cable-free play setup, compared with a simpler wireless headset, its PRO-G drivers, surround processing, and Blue VO!CE options add more ways to shape game audio and communication.

For PC use, G HUB unlocks the listed advanced audio and microphone features. On PS5 and PS4, the headset provides USB wireless stereo sound, on Nintendo Switch, wireless stereo sound is available when the console is docked. Its 20-hour listed battery life and detachable mic make it a practical fit for players who want a dedicated wireless headset for gaming and voice chat.
