## Description

This desktop USB adapter brings a clear upgrade to home networks, boosting speed and range for everyday online tasks. If you need a simple way to upgrade an older PC or a laptop without reliable WiFi, the USB WiFi adapter for desktop is a practical choice that raises connection quality and reduces latency.

## Key points

The LIVINGTHING AX900 delivers faster wireless links for streaming, meetings, and gaming with support for Wi‑Fi 6 and dual band operation. Installation is straightforward, plug and play on Windows 11 and Windows 10, and the adapter works with USB 3.0 ports while remaining compatible with USB 2.0. It focuses on improving signal reach thanks to a high gain external antenna, so your desktop can pick up a stronger, more stable connection across longer distances. If you prioritize lower latency for online games, this adapter helps reduce lag, and if you prefer reliable video calls it maintains steady throughput for HD streams. Note that the device is a WiFi receiver for computers and not a cellular data modem, and driver support is limited to modern Windows versions according to the manufacturer.

## Technical details

- Name: **LIVINGTHING AX900**
- Connectivity: Dual band 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz
- Capacity: 900 Mbps
- Antenna: **7 dBi antenna**
- Compatibility: Windows 11, Windows 10

## Who it’s for

You’ll appreciate it if you need a quick network upgrade for a desktop with a weak built in card, or if you want better range for a PC placed far from the router. It suits users who stream 4K video occasionally, join frequent video meetings, or play online games where lower ping matters.

It may not be the best match if you rely on older operating systems like Windows 7 or Windows 8, or if you need an adapter with broader OS support for macOS or Linux. Also keep in mind that top speeds depend on the router and network conditions, according to the manufacturer.
