LIKIMIO California King Bed Frame

Technical details

For California King shoppers who want bedside storage, charging access, and adjustable accent lighting built into the frame, this LIKIMIO bed combines several everyday conveniences in one design. Its headboard is upholstered in Sherpa fabric, with a natural-look board and cream-colored backrest that bring a soft, neutral look to the room.

The setup is feature-rich, but those extras are the main reason to consider it over a more basic frame.

The headboard shelf provides space for books, a remote, or other small essentials. Its charging station has two AC outlets, one USB port, and one Type-C port. RGB lighting runs along the headboard, with more than 60,000 colors and controls for color, brightness, mode, and timer through the included remote or a mobile app. Under the bed, 9.8 inches of clearance creates room for items such as extra bedding or luggage. The frame uses heavy-duty metal slats, and the product description says a memory foam strip helps prevent metal-on-metal contact and noise.

Getting the most from it

This frame suits a bedroom where the bed doubles as a place to read, charge devices, or unwind with softer lighting. Picture settling in with a book on the headboard shelf, a phone connected nearby, and the light dimmed for the evening. The built-in setup can reduce the need for separate bedside charging accessories, while the under-bed clearance offers a place to tuck away seasonal items.

It makes sense if you want those functions integrated into a California King frame rather than shopping for a simpler frame and adding lighting, storage, and charging solutions separately. Keep in mind that the shelf is described for small essentials, not bulky bedside storage, and the available details do not identify app compatibility or the exact assembly time. The maker also describes the frame as noise-free, treat that as a design claim, not a guarantee for every setup or floor.

Usage tips

Before assembly, plan where the bed will sit so the charging station and headboard shelf are convenient to reach. Once assembled, use the shelf for lightweight items you regularly want close by, and reserve the space beneath the frame for belongings that fit within the stated clearance. The lighting controls offer several ways to change the room’s mood, though shoppers who prefer a plain, unlit headboard may not use much of that feature set.

The listing describes the assembly as straightforward and says minimal tools are needed, but it does not specify how many people are required. If you are comparing options, a simpler frame may suit a bedroom where charging and lighting are already handled elsewhere, this model puts more of those functions at the bed itself.

Before you decide

What charging connections are built into the headboard? It has two AC outlets, one USB port, and one Type-C port.

Can the headboard lighting be adjusted? Yes. The RGB lights offer color, brightness, mode, and timer controls through the included remote or a mobile app.

Is there space under the bed for storage? The listed clearance is 9.8 inches, intended for items such as extra bedding, seasonal belongings, or luggage.

Buying verdict

You may want to skip it if you prefer a minimal frame without integrated lighting or a charging station, or if you need more under-bed clearance than the listed 9.8 inches. For shoppers who will use the headboard shelf, multiple charging connections, and adjustable RGB lighting, those built-in features make this a more practical choice than a basic frame with no bedside add-ons. The Sherpa upholstery also gives the headboard a softer look and feel, but the available details do not specify care instructions or confirm whether a mattress is included.
