LIFEMENT L-MT-WHT-06-T Twin Mattress, 6-Inch Matcha Gel Memory Foam

The 6-inch profile gives this LIFEMENT twin mattress a bunk-friendly format, while matcha gel-infused memory foam adds a contouring comfort layer. Its medium-firm feel and three-layer construction are designed to combine cushioning with support for a child’s bed.

It ships compressed in a box, making it easier to move into a bedroom or guest space before unrolling it on a suitable surface. For a compact sleep setup such as a bunk or trundle, the 6-inch design offers a different fit from a taller mattress intended for a standalone bed.

What matters most

The three-layer design pairs a high-density foam base with a transition layer and matcha cooling gel memory foam on top. Together, these layers provide a stable foundation, help absorb movement, and contour to the sleeper. The medium-firm feel is intended for children and is described as suitable for sleeping on the back, side, or stomach.

The cooling gel foam uses an open-cell structure to promote airflow and help manage heat during sleep. That can be useful in a child’s room through warm nights, especially for sleepers who prefer a mattress with a breathable feel. The mattress is fiberglass-free. Its foam is CertiPUR-US certified, and the cover is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified. Buyers highlight comfort and value in their feedback, which may help shoppers weighing a child-focused foam mattress against other twin options.

How it fits

This standard twin mattress is presented for bunk beds, trundle beds, daybeds, and platform beds, and is compatible with slatted bases. It can also be used on a flat, sturdy surface, offering flexibility for a child’s bedroom, a guest room, or a grandparent’s spare room. The medium-firm feel and foam layers make it a practical choice when you want a cushioned sleep surface in a compact bed setup.

Tips for day-to-day use

Because the mattress arrives compressed, carry the box to the room where it will be used, unroll the mattress on its sleeping surface, and allow it to expand. The polyester-blend cover is removable, and the care instructions call for spot cleaning, a straightforward approach to routine care. For a child’s bed, the foam construction and movement-absorbing transition layer are relevant when choosing a surface for nightly sleep or occasional use in a shared room.

When it makes sense

Choose this LIFEMENT mattress when a twin-size, 6-inch profile suits the bed frame and you want memory foam cushioning with a medium-firm feel. Its bunk-bed and trundle use, compressed-in-a-box delivery, cooling gel layer, and certified foam and cover make it a considered fit for a child’s room or a compact guest space. The included warranty is 10 years, see the warranty card for coverage details.
