If you’re replacing a lost or broken LG remote, this model aims to offer a straightforward, plug-and-play solution without the hassle of programming. It promises compatibility with a wide range of LG smart TVs and features dedicated shortcut buttons for popular streaming apps, letting you jump to Netflix, Prime Video, and more with a single press. ## What to know before you buy On paper, this remote is positioned as a no-fuss upgrade: drop in two AAA batteries and you’re set. Note that batteries are not included. It’s advertised as compatible with many AKB model numbers and LG webOS TVs, including NanoCell and various 4K/8K UHD sets. If you rely on edge-case LG models or older units, compatibility is implied but not itemized for every single TV in the line. ## How it feels in everyday use If you value simplicity, this remote’s out-of-the-box setup reduces friction. For daily use, the one-click shortcuts to streaming apps can save time scrolling menus. The feel and layout are designed to resemble standard LG remotes, so there’s a familiar rhythm to navigation. It may not replace every function of an original LG remote, but it covers the key essentials without a learning curve. ## Pros - Quick start: no programming required, drop in two AAA batteries and you’re ready. - Broad compatibility: advertised to work with multiple LG webOS and smart TV lines, plus a long list of models. - Streaming shortcuts: dedicated Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, and LG Channels buttons for fast access. - Warranty: 180 days of customer warranty adds a layer of peace of mind for replacement/after-sale support. ## Cons / Limitations to keep in mind - Batteries not included, so you’ll need to grab two AAA batteries right away. - Compatibility is stated broadly, if your exact model is unusual or very new, there’s a small risk it won’t cover every function or model nuance. - It may not replicate every advanced or proprietary feature from the original LG remote, depending on the TV model and firmware. ## Who it’s for This replacement is sensible for households that need a straightforward, ready-to-use LG remote without pairing or programming steps. It fits users who mainly use streaming apps and standard TV controls and want a simple backup remote. ## Who it’s not ideal for If you rely on highly specific LG features (certain advanced setup options, voice controls, or model-specific shortcuts that aren’t listed), you might find gaps compared to the original remote. It’s also less ideal if you require a remote that supports every single function of a premium original remote. ## When it makes sense to buy Consider this replacement when you want a practical, low-friction option to restore control of a LG TV after a loss or damage. It’s especially appealing if you stream often and value quick access to major apps. ## What to check before purchasing - Confirm your TV model falls within the compatibility range described by the seller. - Confirm you’re comfortable adding two AAA batteries (not included). - If you rely on niche features, verify that the remote’s layout covers the needed functions. ## Practical usage example Imagine you’re lazily flipping through apps using a bare-bones remote. With the built-in shortcuts, you tap Netflix and jump straight into your favorite show, skipping the app menu dive. When you’re done, a single button press returns you to live TV without extra steps. ## Is it worth it? Final verdict: If you prioritize a quick, plug-and-play LG remote that closely resembles the original in feel and layout, with reliable streaming shortcuts and a concrete warranty, this replacement is worth considering. If your needs include very specific or rare TV functions, you may want to verify compatibility more closely or consider keeping the original remote as a benchmark. ## Quick FAQ - Do I need to program this remote? No, it works out of the box with batteries. - Are batteries included? No, you’ll need two AAA batteries. - Will it work with my exact LG model? It’s advertised to cover a broad range, but check compatibility notes for your model family and firmware. ## Images ![LG TV Universal Replacement Remote \(AKB76037601\) – Ready to Use Out of the Box — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/ywkw7FivWRi0yrFPL35M69ApPl1sdtIOQgIV8LvxUxyPSO8HGSfH6U-OD_AXuicgljbX0BEs20tTum5zBJqnqrhzuhAoiw8qVeKqfA-jLd5xL66Q2WC16ZtxyQ.jpg) ![LG TV Universal Replacement Remote \(AKB76037601\) – Ready to Use Out of the Box — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/UULZrZWY5Aywp8N-riy8dOUIEgXWfVXpsSW2dMo63Ug_UGVJ9phFDlm3w-mXz64vRYtw72o6rDGKfNLbiArVLHjbHFYHaMYnO3i9SmVH4qOI-8pniVmjEYl3wQ.jpg) ![LG TV Universal Replacement Remote \(AKB76037601\) – Ready to Use Out of the Box — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Anqi4A-gkrBt55LVrFcMmxe5jDDzxJXuJmTaKzFDFS0eL5kk4eFm81jzEULkvT8XXdzTus183E9gUYbqlUNEthMsvp5fnmCDzy7s3r7YgWPmRMvGgfpbqyIMhw.jpg) ![LG TV Universal Replacement Remote \(AKB76037601\) – Ready to Use Out of the Box — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/XoOSuhI2qpOp2n89jWIX3_uSK_2-htLTUb_kSc8Yf2eFryQpLLbIcdpJE2jvXI_FUU1g8wP0P_m3kYsA8a8puS40nfmEW-aB8D2s7Duc-Kp0TQKuGbkRU4_G0A.jpg) ![LG TV Universal Replacement Remote \(AKB76037601\) – Ready to Use Out of the Box — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Dx7hZUSLxebPGQjxsUeLE1-KVRV7nKigGDZ_9VI7HFn5_kwtsW_1IKmV3TOgRa6nhDbj3SKwx5n1ed57RwEYpH9kPx3KFlffzGhBFJMpCXsi6qx873r03whgvA.jpg)
