## Description

A salad course or a small plate of fruit calls for a fork that feels more suited to the job than a full-size dinner fork. The Lenox Portola set supplies four salad forks for that everyday gap.

Each fork has a mirror finish, so the look is polished without adding a separate serving piece to your place setting.

The trade-off is simple: this is a four-fork set, not a complete flatware set or a mix of utensil types.

## Technical details

The set includes four salad forks made from 18/10 stainless steel. Each measures 7.06 inches long and 0.97 inches wide, with a mirror finish. They are listed as dishwasher safe, which makes routine cleanup more straightforward than hand-washing-only cutlery. The listing does not provide weight, handle details, or information about matching pieces, so those should not be assumed from the Portola name alone.

That compact format is useful when you want dedicated forks for salads, appetizers, or smaller portions. For example, they can go beside dinner plates before a meal, then head into the dishwasher afterward. If you need dinner forks, teaspoons, or enough pieces for a larger table, you would need to choose those separately.

## Getting the most from it

Treat these as a focused addition to the flatware drawer rather than a replacement for a full service. Four forks make sense for a small household, a few extra settings, or replacing salad forks without buying utensils you already have. If you are furnishing a kitchen from scratch, a complete set may be a more practical starting point.

The mirror finish gives the forks a dressier appearance than plain, matte-looking cutlery, so they can work for everyday meals as well as a more considered table setting. Keep in mind that the product details only identify the finish, they do not say whether it resists scratches or water spots. Dishwasher safe is useful, but it is not a promise that the finish will remain mark-free indefinitely.

## Usage tips

Use them for salads, appetizers, and other smaller servings where a salad fork is the intended utensil. At a casual dinner, setting one beside each plate keeps the fork choice clear without bringing out a full collection of extra pieces. The 7.06-inch length is the listed measurement for each fork, which gives you a concrete way to judge whether it suits the place settings you already own.

A solid pick if you need four matching salad forks and value a mirror-finish look with dishwasher-safe cleanup. You may want to skip it if you need a complete flatware service, more than four pieces, or a specific handle style that is not described here. The available details also do not establish whether these coordinate with other Portola utensils.

## Questions before you buy

**How many forks are included?**
Four salad forks are included, no other utensils are listed.

**What are they made of?**
The listed material is 18/10 stainless steel, with a mirror finish.

**Can they go in the dishwasher?**
Yes. The product details describe the forks as dishwasher safe.

## Should you buy it?

Choose this Lenox set when the missing piece in your drawer is specifically a group of four salad forks, not an entire place setting. The stated dimensions and dishwasher-safe construction make the basics easy to assess, while the mirror finish suits buyers who want a more polished look. If you are shopping for a coordinated full set or need details about weight, styling, or matching pieces before deciding, this listing does not provide enough information to settle those preferences.
