## Description

The reversible design gives this Lelepet dog coat two looks while keeping a lightweight layer between a small dog and cold, windy weather. Its padded polyester construction is described as windproof and water-resistant, with soft filling intended to add warmth without feeling bulky. For a quick walk, the hook-and-loop closure and elastic band make the coat easier to put on and help it stay in place, while the leash hole lets you connect a collar or harness. The trade-off is worth noting: water-resistant does not mean waterproof, so this is not the coat to rely on for sustained rain.

## Technical details

This is a reversible puffer vest in polyester, listed in green and size XS. The filling is described as thick, light, and soft, the jacket also has an adjustable hook-and-loop fastener, an elastic band, and a leash hole. Those features point to a cold-weather layer for everyday outings rather than a technical shell with detailed weather-performance ratings. The product description does not provide measurements or a temperature range, so the size label alone cannot confirm how it will fit or how warm it will feel for a particular dog.

## Compatibility

The leash hole is designed to make attaching a collar or harness more convenient during walks. The listing does not identify specific collar or harness models, so check how your dog’s walking gear sits against the coat before heading out. The reversible construction offers a second appearance, but both sides are part of the same vest rather than separate layers.

## Usage tips

Measure your dog and compare those measurements with the Lelepet size chart before ordering, the listing names sizes from XS through 3XL but does not include the chart’s measurements here. After fastening the coat, check that it sits securely without interfering with the leash connection or your dog’s movement. For example, before stepping out on a chilly morning, you can put the vest on, attach the leash through the opening, and see whether the fit stays settled as your dog walks. Take it off if the closure or elastic band seems to restrict movement. A simpler unpadded layer may make more sense in mild weather, while a waterproof outer layer is a better direction for wet conditions.

## Before you decide

**Is this coat waterproof?** No such claim is provided. It is described as water-resistant, so don’t treat it as a waterproof raincoat.

**Can I attach a leash while the dog is wearing it?** The coat has a leash hole intended to make attaching a collar or harness easier.

**How do I choose the size?** Measure your dog and use the Lelepet size chart. The listing does not provide the measurements, so the XS label alone is not enough to confirm fit.

## When it makes sense

A solid pick if you want a lightweight, reversible padded vest for cold-weather walks and your dog’s measurements match the size chart. The fastener and leash opening address practical getting-ready details, while the two-sided design gives you a change of look without carrying another coat. You may want to skip it if you need a waterproof jacket, a stated warmth rating, or confirmed measurements before choosing a size. Those gaps matter more than the reversible styling if your main concern is protection in wet weather or a precise fit.
