LayinSun KC5005 4-Piece Aluminum Patio Set with Fire Pit and 6-Inch Cushions

Picture a porch or deck arranged for conversation, with four pieces of seating and a fire table that can also serve as a coffee table. The LayinSun KC5005 combines those functions in one outdoor furniture set.

The set has an aluminum frame with a weather-resistant powder coating and 6-inch cushions. Its listed weight is 257 pounds, so plan the placement before assembly rather than treating it as a lightweight setup to move often.

A pull-out lid switches the fire table between fire-pit and coffee-table use. The listed heat output is 55,000 BTU, with one-button ignition and flame-temperature control.

What to know

This is a four-piece patio conversation set, not a furniture-only arrangement: the included fire table gives the seating area a second use when a flame is not wanted. That can suit an outdoor space where a separate coffee table and fire feature would take up more room. The available size is listed as M-4 Seat, and the style is modern.

The frame is aluminum with a powder-coated finish. The cushions are described as 6-inch-thick sponge, with olefin fabric and an inner waterproof membrane. Those are useful details for shoppers comparing this with simpler patio sets that have thinner cushions or no fire-table function. The listing describes the coating as weather-resistant and the cushions as waterproof, that should not be read as a promise that every part needs no protection or care in every outdoor condition.

Basic assembly is required, and instructions are included. The listed item weight of 257 pounds is also worth factoring into delivery, setup, and any future rearrangement. Customer feedback is generally favorable about appearance, sturdiness, comfort, cushion thickness, and assembly. These are buyer impressions rather than a guarantee of how the set will perform in a particular space.

Getting the most from it

Think of the fire table as the central shared surface: use its lid when you want coffee-table functionality, then remove it to use the fire feature. The set may make sense for relaxed gatherings where people will sit together, rather than for a patio focused on dining or frequent furniture reconfiguration. Its four-piece format and substantial listed weight make a planned layout more practical than an arrangement you expect to move around regularly.

The product information does not provide specific cleaning or storage instructions. For care details, follow the included materials and any instructions supplied with the set instead of assuming that the fabric or frame needs no maintenance.

Usage tips

Measure the intended area and map out the seating arrangement before assembly. The listing gives dimensions of 30 x 35 x 25.6 inches, though it does not specify which component those measurements describe, so use them only after confirming what they apply to in the product information. Leave enough space for people to sit and move around the planned conversation area.

Use the lid to switch between the table and fire-pit functions. The table is listed with one-button ignition and temperature control, follow the provided instructions for operation. The supplied details do not identify a fuel type, so this listing alone cannot answer questions about fuel or related setup requirements.

Final verdict

Worth considering if you want a coordinated four-piece seating set with thick cushions and a fire table that can also work as a coffee table. It brings more function into one conversation area than a basic patio seating set, while the aluminum construction and stated cushion materials provide useful points of comparison when shopping. Not the best choice if you need lightweight furniture that is easy to reposition: the listed weight is 257 pounds. The missing fuel information and lack of detailed care guidance also mean those requirements need to be answered separately before purchase.
