## Description

This daylight lamp from Lastar reproduces full-spectrum illumination at up to 10,000 lux to help boost energy and support alertness during short morning sessions or long workdays. It combines adjustable brightness and color temperature controls with a compact footprint for use on desks, countertops, or bedside tables.

## Key Points

The lamp offers five brightness levels and four color temperatures so you can switch from warm ambient light to bright daylight for focused tasks. According to the manufacturer, the unit reaches the recommended 10,000 lux intensity to simulate natural sunlight and may help with mood and concentration. A built-in timer lets you set 15, 30, 45, or 60 minute sessions and the lamp includes a memory function that restores the last setting when turned back on. The design is lightweight and portable, which makes it easy to move between rooms or store when not in use. Note that the lamp uses LEDs that do not emit UV radiation according to product information, which reduces concerns about UV exposure.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **Lastar Sun Lamp**
- Brightness: 10,000 lux according to the manufacturer
- Color temperatures: 1600K, 3000K, 4500K, 6500K
- Brightness levels: 5 settings (5%, 10%, 40%, 70%, 100%)
- Power: 12 W
- Size: 5.3 x 4.7 x 2 inches

## Benefits

The combination of multiple color temperatures and intensity settings allows a tailored light dose for different activities, from waking up in the morning to late-night reading. Lower color temperatures provide a softer, less reflective glow while higher settings approximate daylight for tasks that require alertness and visual clarity. The timer feature supports short therapy-like sessions without manual shutoff, and the memory function saves your preferred configuration so you do not need to reselect settings each time.

## Usage Recommendations

Place the lamp on a stable surface near your workspace or beside a chair where directed illumination will reach your eyes indirectly rather than staring directly into the LEDs. Start with short sessions at moderate intensity to gauge how your body responds, and increase duration or lux levels gradually if desired. Consider the warmest temperature for evening use to reduce blue light contrast, and use cooler, higher-lux settings in the morning or when you need an energy boost.
