Lasko 751320 Ceramic Vertical Heater

This vertical ceramic heater from Lasko brings fast, controllable warmth to small and medium rooms, with features for bedrooms, living rooms, and home offices. Its 1500-watt ceramic element offers rapid heating while the slim tower design and carry handle make repositioning simple.

Key Points

The unit operates at 1500 watts and provides three heat modes: high, low, and an automatic thermostat setting for maintaining a target temperature. Oscillation helps distribute warmth across a room instead of concentrating it in one spot. Controls are electronic and the heater includes a multi-function remote with onboard storage for convenience. According to the manufacturer, built-in safety includes overheat protection, a self-regulating ceramic element, and a cool-touch housing that reduces surface heat during operation. Quiet operation makes it suitable for nighttime use or while working.

Benefits

Because it uses a ceramic heating element, the heater warms up quickly and maintains temperature efficiently, which can be more responsive than some coil-based models. The oscillation feature helps reduce cold spots in a room, offering more even coverage for day-to-day comfort. Remote control access means temperature and timer adjustments are possible without getting up, which is handy during sleep or focused work. The slim footprint conserves floor space while still delivering whole-room warmth according to the manufacturer.

Usage Recommendations

Place the tower on a flat, stable surface with adequate clearance from furniture and curtains to allow safe airflow. For nighttime heating, use the automatic thermostat mode to avoid unnecessary energy use and rely on the cool-touch housing feature to minimize risk if the unit is located near high-traffic areas. Consider that ceramic heaters can be less efficient in very large, open plan spaces, so this model may not be the best choice for heating extensive areas.
