Lamicall Phone Holder for 4–7-Inch Smartphones

Key specifications

For someone who wants a phone in view while lying in bed, cooking, or making a hands-free video call, this Lamicall gooseneck holder offers a clamp-on alternative to a tabletop stand. Its adjustable arm is 33.4 inches long, and the phone holder supports smartphones from 4 to 7 inches. The base clamps to surfaces up to 2.36 inches thick and has a non-slip silicone lining intended to help protect furniture.

The arm has a solid aluminum-magnesium alloy core and can be bent to adjust the viewing angle. The holder also rotates 360 degrees. One tradeoff is built into the design: the arm is described as less flexible than some gooseneck holders, with stability prioritized over easy repositioning.

Who it’s for

This setup suits people who want to keep their hands free without balancing a phone against a pillow, mug, or stack of books. For example, you could clamp it to a bedside table, position the screen above you for a show, and then turn the phone toward you for a video call. It can also be attached to a desk for calls or to a kitchen counter for following a recipe, as long as the surface fits the clamp.

It makes sense if you want one mount that can move between supported surfaces and hold a compatible phone at a chosen angle. The listing also describes using it as a tripod for time-lapse videos or group photos, so it may be useful beyond hands-free viewing. You may want to skip it if you need an arm that bends freely with minimal effort or plan to attach it to a surface thicker than the stated clamp range.

Everyday use

There’s no package-contents information provided, so the more useful question is where this mount can attach. The clamp is listed for bed frames, headboards, nightstands, desks, end tables, and kitchen counters. Its reach gives you room to bring a screen closer or move it out of the way, while the silicone base is intended to prevent scratches where it grips.

This is a different approach from a small stand that sits directly under the phone: the clamp-mounted arm can position the screen over a bed or beside a work area, but it depends on having a suitable edge to grip. The phone-size range is broad, though compatibility with a specific device still depends on its size and how it fits the holder.

Before you decide

Can it attach to a bedside table or desk? The clamp is designed for those surfaces, provided the edge is no more than 2.36 inches thick.

What phones does it support? The stated range is 4–7-inch smartphones. The listing does not provide a separate model-by-model fit guarantee.

Can you change the viewing angle? The arm bends and the holder rotates 360 degrees. The design favors stability over a highly flexible arm, so frequent, effortless repositioning may not suit everyone.

Buying verdict

Choose this holder if you want a clamp-mounted phone position for bed, desk, or kitchen use and your mounting surface falls within the stated range. The longer arm and adjustable orientation offer more placement options than a basic stand, while the less-flexible design is a meaningful compromise if you often shift the phone around. Check the phone’s fit within the stated size range and the thickness of the surface before choosing it.
