## Description

A fixed viewing position may be enough for occasional phone use, while a desk setup used for classes, streaming, or hands-free viewing benefits from adjustability. The Lamicall stand folds for carrying and has a weighted metal base. Would changing the screen height make your desk setup more comfortable? Its height extends up to 3.2 inches, and the viewing angle adjusts.

The adjustable height and tilt let you position a screen for desk viewing rather than holding it throughout a session. The silicone contact points are intended to help keep a device from slipping and protect it from scratches. The weighted base is designed to support stability, including when a phone has a thick case. These features are useful for a home office, a study desk, or a spot where a phone is used for a live stream or online class.

## What it works with
The stand is described for smartphones and tablets measuring 4 to 8 inches. Listed examples include a broad range of iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models, as well as Google Pixel, LG, OnePlus, and other phones. Several iPad mini generations are also named. Since the stated fit is size-based, check that your device falls within the listed range rather than relying only on a model name in the compatibility list. Cases up to 0.71 inches thick are supported, according to the product details.

## How to use it
Unfold the stand on a desk, place the phone or tablet against the backrest, and adjust the height and tilt to suit the task. For example, it can hold a phone upright for watching a lesson or streaming while your hands are free. When you need to take it along, its bi-folding design collapses into a compact form for a bag or backpack. The stand is a desktop accessory, so its role is to hold a device in position—not to replace a portable grip for using a phone while moving around.

## When it makes sense
Worth considering if you want a reusable desk position that can be adjusted instead of a basic fixed-angle holder, especially if you switch between phone and tablet use within the stated size range. Buyer feedback highlights the weighted base, folding design, and range of height and angle adjustments, some also describe using it with both phones and iPads. Those comments reflect reported experiences, not a guarantee of fit for every device.

Better avoided if you need a stand for a device outside the listed 4-to-8-inch range. For compatible devices, the combination of adjustable viewing position and foldable construction suits desk use that occasionally needs to travel, while the dark purple finish is a visible part of the setup rather than a neutral color choice.
