## Description

## How it fits

When customers need to pay without someone standing by the counter, cash can be awkward to collect and easy to leave unattended. This lockable drop box gives them a slot for payments while keeping the contents behind a key lock.

Mount it on a wall, fence, or door using the pre-drilled holes and included hardware, or set it on a counter. That flexibility suits a farm stand, porch pickup, donation point, or another self-service spot where people need a clear place to leave cash.

The box measures 10.24 inches high, 5.7 inches wide, and 2.95 inches deep. If it needs to sit under a ledge or beside a door, measure the available clearance, without that measurement, the box dimensions alone may not tell you whether the slot will be easy to reach. The slot is 3.15 inches long and 0.39 inches wide, so consider the items you plan to collect before choosing it.

Would a wall-mounted box work better than a basic cash container taking up counter space? It can, especially when payments need to be dropped off without an attendant. The lock and two included keys provide controlled access for collection, though the product is not fully waterproof. For outdoor use, a sheltered location is the sensible choice.

It’s a great fit if you need a compact collection point for cash, tips, donation contributions, or suggestion cards. It may not suit you if the box will be exposed to rain or you need a larger opening for bulkier items.

## Pros

- Can be wall-mounted or placed on a counter, so you can choose the setup that suits the collection point.
- A key lock helps limit access to the contents, two keys are included.
- The metal body is intended for regular use, and the compact depth can help preserve counter space.
- The slot accepts cash, coins, ballots, keys, postcards, bills, and tips, according to the product information.

The main trade-off is weather protection: this is not described as fully waterproof. A sheltered porch or indoor position makes more sense than leaving it exposed to the elements. Also, the narrow slot favors flat or small items rather than anything bulky.

## Spec sheet

## Final verdict

This box is worth considering when the goal is straightforward: give people a place to leave payments or other small items, then retrieve them with a key. For example, at a farm stand, it could be mounted near the pickup point so a customer can drop in payment while collecting an order. The included mounting hardware means it does not have to occupy a counter, while countertop placement remains an option if drilling is not appropriate.

Choose it over a basic open tray when you want the contents behind a lock and a designated slot for drop-offs. Choose a different approach if you need weatherproof outdoor storage, a wide opening, or details about capacity that are not provided here. Its appeal is the simple combination of a lock, slot, and flexible placement—not a claim that it can protect cash in every setting.
