## Description

This washable runner rug brings a practical blend of softness and grip to long hallways, kitchens, and entryways. The KOZYFLY 2 x 12 ft runner combines a cotton-polyester braided surface with a rubberized dotted backing, making it easy to care for and stable underfoot for busy homes with kids or pets.

## Key Points

The runner measures 2 by 12 feet, offering extra length for long corridors and open-plan kitchen zones. The two-tone black and charcoal pattern creates a subtle checkerboard effect that reads as neutral at a distance while adding texture up close. According to the manufacturer, the rug is machine washable which simplifies maintenance after spills and heavy use. Note that woven cotton rugs may show minor shrinkage or wrinkles after washing, and pressing on low heat or using a steam iron with a damp cloth can help restore a flat appearance.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **KOZYFLY Washable Runner Rug 2x12 ft**
- Size: 2 x 12 ft (24 x 144 inches)
- Thickness: carpet surface 0.5 cm, border 0.8 cm
- Material: cotton and polyester blend
- Backing: rubberized anti-slip dotted backing

## Usage Recommendations

Lay the rug flat when you first unpack it and allow time for creases to relax naturally. If folds persist, weigh down creased areas or use a low-temperature steam press with a cloth between the iron and the rug. Consider using a slightly smaller anti-slip pad under the rug edges if door clearance is under 0.35 inches, because the thicker border may interfere with some doors. The textured braided surface masks everyday dirt while still being soft underfoot, making it suitable for high-traffic zones and family areas.

## Positive Aspects

The dotted rubber backing improves traction on hard floors which helps reduce slipping and keeps the runner in place. Handmade finishing adds minor irregularities in the edge that do not affect durability and can give the rug a crafted look. The colorway is versatile and can work with modern or transitional decor palettes. A practical feature is machine washability that lets you refresh the runner more easily than with traditional area rugs.

Note that colors may vary slightly with lighting and screen display, and small edge variations are normal due to the hand-cut and hand-finished production process.
