## Description

This cotton entryway rug from KOZYFLY measures 3 x 5 feet and combines a low-profile braided surface with a rubberized non-slip backing to keep high-traffic areas tidy and safer. It suits hallways, kitchens, and front entrances where you want an easy-care floor covering that blends charcoal and dark grey tones for a subtle two-tone checkerboard look.

## Key Points

The rug is machine washable for simple maintenance, which helps keep the mat fresh in homes with kids or pets. The low pile and thin construction make it easy to place under most doors, but measure the clearance first because the thicker edge may interfere with doors that have less than 0.35 inches of gap. The surface may show wrinkles after shipping; laying it flat and using a low-heat steam iron with a damp cloth can accelerate flattening, and rolling the rug the opposite way can help the folds relax.

## Technical Specifications

- Name: **KOZYFLY Washable Entryway Rug 3x5 Ft**
- Size: 91.4 x 152.4 cm
- Thickness (pile): 0.5 cm
- Edge thickness: 0.8 cm
- Color: Grey/Charcoal Grey

## Usage Recommendations

Place the rug in entryways, in front of kitchen sinks, or in living room transition areas to trap dirt and reduce slipping on smooth floors. For best grip, the advanced dotted rubber backing should be used directly on hard surfaces; consider a slightly smaller anti-slip pad under the rug if you want to avoid the raised edge creating a trip hazard. Machine wash on a gentle cycle and reshape while damp; according to the manufacturer, cotton rugs can shrink or wrinkle after washing so ironing at low temperature may be necessary. 🧺

## Positive Aspects

The cotton construction gives a natural feel underfoot and breathability compared to synthetic mats, and the muted two-tone palette works with contemporary and classic decors. The thin profile makes it easier to fit under furniture or doors when clearance is adequate. Rubberized dots on the back help keep the rug in place during daily use, offering additional stability on tile and hardwood floors. 🐾
