## Description

This small entryway rug brings a low-profile, washable option for high-traffic spots like front doors, bathrooms, and kitchens, combining soft braided cotton with a subtle charcoal fleck for a lived-in look. Its main benefit is easy upkeep with machine-washable fabric and a grippy rubber dot backing that helps keep the mat in place during daily use.

## Key Points

The mat’s braided cotton and polyester blend offers a plush surface that feels comfortable underfoot while adding warmth to tile or hardwood floors. Colors are predominantly black with charcoal gray flecks woven throughout, so the tone has depth rather than a flat solid black. Note that the rug is hand-cut and hand-finished, which can produce slight irregularities along the edges that do not affect function.

This rug is designed to be machine washable for straightforward maintenance, and it may be a practical choice for homes with kids or pets because of the easy cleaning and the advanced non-slip dot backing. Keep in mind that cotton rugs can shrink or wrinkle after washing, and the manufacturer suggests low-temperature ironing to restore smoothness. For delivery the rug arrives folded, so allow time for creases to relax or use a low-heat steam iron with a cloth to expedite the process. 🧼

## Usage Recommendations

Measure the clearance of your door before placing the rug, because if your door gap is less than 0.4 inches the thicker border might interfere with smooth opening. For reducing shipment creases, lay the rug flat and weight down the folds or roll it in the opposite direction for a few days. Using a small anti-slip pad under the rug can offset the thicker edge and further reduce the chance of tripping while improving stability. 🧯

Consider that color appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting and that the black tone includes charcoal highlights rather than being a pure black. If frequent washing is expected, accept that some shrinkage and wrinkling are possible according to the manufacturer, and plan to refresh the pile with light ironing on low heat when needed.
