KOZYFLY Area Rug 6x9 ft washable braided cotton rug 🏠

This braided cotton-area rug in 6 x 9 feet brings a deep dark green palette and soft texture to living rooms, dining rooms or bedrooms, adding warmth and a natural tone to everyday spaces. It is machine washable for easy care and includes a rubber-dot non-slip backing that helps keep the rug in place during daily activity.

Key Points

This rug measures 6' x 9' (72" x 108") and is about 0.2" thick across the pile with a slightly thicker edge of 0.3", which can affect door clearance if the gap is under 0.35". The handmade cutting and braided finish produce small variations along the edges that are cosmetic only. Colors blend deep dark green with earthy undertones and may look darker or richer depending on lighting. Machine washing simplifies maintenance, although cotton may shrink or wrinkle after a wash, and light ironing on low heat is recommended for smoothing. The rubber dot backing adds non-slip security, useful in homes with active households or pets. 🟢

Usage Recommendations

Lay the rug flat upon arrival and allow a few days for creases to relax. If visible folds remain, weigh down the rug or use a low-heat steam iron with a damp cloth to reduce creasing. For stubborn curl, roll the rug in the opposite direction for several hours. Keep in mind that a door with less than 0.35" clearance may not open smoothly over the thicker edge, so measure the door gap before positioning the rug. 🧼

Positive Aspects

The washable construction makes upkeep straightforward and reduces the need for professional cleaning. The braided surface provides tactile softness underfoot and a casual, handcrafted appearance that pairs well with neutral and natural decor. The non-slip backing improves surface stability on hardwood or tile, while the color choice offers a subdued, earthy accent rather than a bright focal point. Note that cotton fibers can change slightly after washing according to the manufacturer, which may require occasional ironing to maintain a flat look. 🧺
