## Description

At 19.7 inches deep, 46 inches wide, and 78 inches high, the KORVENA shelving-1980 creates vertical storage space for garages, basements, workshops, and other utility areas. Its five adjustable metal shelves let you change the spacing to suit storage bins, toolboxes, long materials, or everyday supplies.

The freestanding rack can also be separated into two smaller units, giving you more flexibility when organizing different corners of a room. Its black powder-coated finish and rubber foot pads are practical details for regular indoor storage.

## Tech summary
This five-tier shelving unit is made of metal with a powder-coated finish and has an industrial-style design. The shelves adjust to accommodate items of different heights, so you can set up the rack around the belongings you need to store rather than arranging everything to fit fixed shelf spacing. For a garage, that could mean leaving more room for a tall toolbox on one level and using the remaining shelves for smaller bins or supplies.

The unit measures 19.7 inches deep by 46 inches wide by 78 inches high and weighs 42 pounds. It is designed for floor mounting and can be used as one tall rack or separated into two independent smaller racks. That split design is useful when a single storage area is not the only place that needs organizing.

## Everyday compatibility
Use the shelves in a garage, basement, warehouse, workshop, kitchen, pantry, or utility room. The adjustable spacing helps accommodate mixed-size items, while the tall format makes use of vertical room for storage. If you are choosing between a fixed-layout shelf and a configurable rack, this model offers the option to reposition the shelf levels as your storage needs change. What if your supplies are spread across separate areas? The unit’s split design lets you place the two smaller racks in different corners instead of keeping everything in one location.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Plan shelf spacing around the items you store most often, keeping frequently used supplies easy to reach. Larger bins, bulky supplies, and long materials can each have a shelf arrangement that better suits their shape. The rack uses a press-fit snap assembly, so setup involves joining the components rather than tightening rows of screws. A rubber mallet and protective gloves are described as included for assembly. Rubber foot pads help keep the unit stable and protect tile or hardwood floors from scratches.

## Practical questions
**Can the shelf spacing be changed?** Yes. The shelf levels are adjustable, allowing you to set the gaps according to the size of your stored items.

**Can the rack be divided?** Yes. It can be separated into two independent smaller racks, which can be placed in different areas.

**What rooms is it designed for?** Suggested uses include garages, basements, warehouses, workshops, kitchens, pantries, and utility rooms.

## Buying verdict
Choose the KORVENA shelving-1980 when you want adjustable, five-tier metal storage that can work as one tall rack or be divided for separate spaces. Its 78-inch height, variable shelf spacing, and flexible layout make it a practical fit for organizing tools, bins, and household supplies across a garage or utility area.
