## Description

For a layered cake that needs a clean presentation at a wedding, birthday, or shower, the Kootek 14-inch round cake drum provides a broad, white base. Its four-layer corrugated cardboard construction is 1/2 inch thick, giving the cake a sturdier platform than a thin cake circle and helping support multi-tiered designs.

The smooth, grease-resistant surface offers a neat setting for decorating and display, while the white finish keeps attention on the cake. Each pack contains one disposable board, sized for cakes under 12 inches.

## Key specifications
- Size: 14 inches round
- Thickness: 1/2 inch
- Material: Four-layer corrugated cardboard
- Color: White
- Quantity: 1 cake drum
- Cake size: Under 12 inches

The sturdy construction is designed to support layered cakes without bending upward, and its flat surface helps provide an even base. The board is made from odorless, food-grade cardboard for direct contact with cakes and desserts. A smooth, grease-resistant finish can help keep the base looking presentable as you work with buttercream, wipe away excess frosting as needed. Buyer feedback often praises the boards’ appearance, thickness, and stability. Some customers also report grease marks or dents, so handle the board with care and keep its presentation surface clean as you assemble and display the cake.

## Everyday compatibility
The 14-inch diameter is suited to cakes under 12 inches, leaving room around the cake for a clean border and easier presentation. For a three-layer cake or a multi-tiered centerpiece, the thicker drum offers a more substantial base than a thin circle. It also works for dessert displays such as cupcakes, making it useful for a party table where several treats share a coordinated presentation.

## Getting the most from it
Set the board on a level surface before placing or decorating the cake. Its white circular design creates a simple backdrop that lets the cake remain the focal point, whether you are preparing a celebration cake at home or arranging desserts for an event. The broad surface also gives you space to position a cake under 12 inches without crowding the edge.

Compared with a lightweight, thin cake board, this drum’s four corrugated layers and 1/2-inch thickness provide a more substantial support base for heavier or layered cakes. That makes it a practical choice when presentation and a sturdy foundation matter together. It is disposable, so it suits occasions where a ready-to-use cake base is more convenient than keeping a reusable display board for future events.

**Will it fit a 12-inch cake?** The board is 14 inches across and is intended for cakes under 12 inches, leaving a visible margin around the cake.

**Can it be used with food directly on the surface?** Yes. The cardboard is described as odorless and food-grade for direct contact with cakes and desserts.

**Can it hold desserts other than cake?** Yes. It can also be used to display treats such as cupcakes at parties, weddings, and birthdays.

## Final verdict
For bakers preparing a layered cake or a polished dessert display, this Kootek drum combines a 14-inch presentation surface with 1/2-inch, four-layer corrugated support. Its white finish, food-grade cardboard, and disposable format make it a useful base for celebration cakes and dessert tables.
