KOOLTAIL BJSJ042BLK_XL Dog Hoodie, Black Polyester with Leash Hole and Pocket

For a dog that needs an extra layer on chilly walks or during cool-weather outings, the KOOLTAIL hoodie combines a soft fleece lining with practical details for everyday wear. Its black, classic sportswear-inspired look makes it a comfortable option for fall and winter, while the leash opening lets you attach a leash without covering the harness access point.

A back pocket adds a useful finishing touch, and the pullover design keeps dressing straightforward. This X-Large version is listed for large dogs, including a 30-inch neck size and 34-inch chest size.

Key features

The hoodie is made from 100% polyester and has a soft fleece lining. The fabric is described as lightweight, stretchy, and breathable, offering a cozy layer for cooler days without relying on a bulky coat. A hood with an adjustable drawstring helps tailor the fit around the head, while the higher-cut belly leaves room for potty breaks.

A leash hole and back pocket set this sweatshirt apart from a basic dog sweater. The opening gives you a route for leash access during walks, and the pocket adds a small, functional detail for outings, camping trips, or picnics. The solid black color and sporty styling also work for everyday wear and holiday gatherings.

Buyers often highlight the hoodie’s warmth, softness, and ease of putting on and taking off. Feedback on the fabric is mixed, and some buyers report fit issues, including around the front leg openings. Those comments make careful measuring especially useful when choosing this size.

Fit and sizing

This listing identifies the garment as X-Large and recommends it for large breeds. The listed measurements are a 30-inch neck and 34-inch chest, and the minimum weight recommendation is 60 pounds. Since dogs with similar weights can have different body shapes, take your dog’s measurements and compare them with these figures before ordering. Pay attention to the chest and neck, as well as the placement of the front legs, for a more comfortable fit.

The hoodie is intended for dogs at all life stages. Its pull-on style and adjustable hood make it suitable for regular outings when you want a warm layer with leash access and a pocket, rather than a plain, feature-free sweater.

How to use it

Pull the hoodie over your dog and adjust the hood’s drawstring for a comfortable fit. During walks, guide the leash through the opening provided for leash access. The higher-cut belly is designed to allow easier potty breaks while the garment is on. For care, machine wash in cold water on a gentle cycle, then tumble dry on low or air dry.
