Its CSA certification and instant piezo ignition make it a practical tool for grilling, searing and caramelizing food.

Choose a focused cooking torch for kitchen prep, or a versatile propane torch for jobs that range from lighting campfires to workshop tasks. The adjustable flame lets you adapt the output to the task at hand.

Technical overview

The torch reaches temperatures up to 2462°F and uses a fuel regulator to adjust flame size. That control supports a range of uses, from browning food to lighting charcoal or campfires. The ergonomic grip is designed to make handling comfortable, while the trigger-operated piezo ignition provides an integrated way to light the torch.

• Type: Propane torch gun
• Maximum temperature: 2462°F
• Ignition: Piezo
• Flame: Adjustable
• Certification: CSA

For a cookout, use the torch to sear steaks, caramelize desserts, roast vegetables or melt cheese. Beyond cooking, the listed uses include starting fireplaces, outdoor weeding, snow removal, DIY crafts, jewelry making and soldering. That range makes it useful when one tool needs to serve both food-prep and general-purpose tasks.

Tips for day-to-day use

Connect the propane tank securely, making sure the connector interfaces align, then allow one minute before ignition. Turn the knob between 45 and 90 degrees to light the torch, do not use the max-power button to ignite it. Adjust the fuel regulator for the task, whether you’re finishing a dessert or lighting charcoal. For safe handling, keep the connected torch upright rather than on its side or upside down, and detach the tank after use for separate storage. Avoid continuous operation beyond 1–2 minutes so the torch can be used within the maker’s stated guidance.

Buyers often describe the torch as easy to use and appreciate it for starting campfires and burning weeds. Feedback on flame behavior and the feel of the build is mixed, so careful positioning and proper handling matter when working with an open flame.
