## Description

## Pros

The removable tool caddy keeps everyday essentials easy to reach, while the box’s 75-pound capacity accommodates daily-use tools. Its V-groove lid and molded ruler add a practical work surface for cutting and measuring tasks. As part of the MODbox system, this small toolbox can connect with other modules to create a customized mobile workstation.

Impact-resistant polymer construction and an IP65-rated seal help protect stored tools from dust and water. Steel-reinforced lock points add security, and built-in side rails accept MODbox attachments. A headlamp bracket provides a place to mount hands-free illumination when working in dim areas. The one-handed release makes it easier to remove and reconfigure the toolbox within the system.

## Everyday use

For a job that calls for a compact, connected storage setup, the 54300MBX offers more than a place to put tools away. Keep frequently used items in the removable caddy, then use the lid’s V-groove and molded ruler to support cutting and measuring tasks. The lid also works with the MODbox system, so the box can be part of a larger workstation rather than a standalone storage choice.

On a worksite or during home projects, the sealed housing helps guard the contents against dust and water, while the impact-resistant construction is suited to regular tool storage. Attachments can be added to the built-in side rails, and the headlamp bracket gives you a mounting point for hands-free light. When your setup needs to change, the one-handed release supports quick removal and reconfiguration. Choose this module when you want compact storage that can connect with other MODbox components, a standalone toolbox is a different approach for users who do not need a modular system.

## Practical questions

**How much weight can the toolbox support?** It supports up to 75 pounds, making it suitable for storing daily-use tools within that capacity.

**Can it connect to other MODbox components?** Yes. It is designed as part of the MODbox Mobile Workstation, with built-in side rails for MODbox attachments and a release mechanism for removal and reconfiguration.

**What can the lid help with?** Its V-groove and molded ruler support cutting and measuring tasks, adding a useful work surface to the storage module.

## Is it worth it?

The 54300MBX is a practical choice for organizing frequently used tools while building a connected MODbox setup. Its removable caddy, 75-pound capacity, protective sealed housing, and work-supporting lid make it useful for both tool storage and everyday tasks on the job. If you want a small toolbox that can join a customizable mobile workstation, this module brings those functions together in one box.
