## Description

For iced coffee, cocktails, or a full glass of soft nugget ice at a home bar, the Kismile HZB-20DN makes ice on the countertop and dispenses it with a lever. Its chewable pebble texture suits drinks you want to sip or crunch. A detachable 2.4-liter water reservoir supports a daily output of up to 44 pounds of ice. The silver stainless steel exterior brings a clean, modern look to the kitchen or office.

## Pros

The lever-activated dispenser lets you place a cup beneath the outlet and dispense ice without a scoop. That makes serving straightforward during a gathering and avoids handling the ice directly. Want to add ice to a drink without reaching into a bin? The cup-and-lever setup keeps the process simple.

Nugget ice has a soft, crisp texture that’s easy to chew and works well in iced lattes, smoothies, craft cocktails, and slushies. Its slower-melting quality helps limit drink dilution and preserve flavor. An ice-level indicator shows how much ice remains, so you can tell when it’s time to make more.

With up to 44 pounds of ice produced per 24 hours, this countertop maker is suited to regular household use as well as serving guests. Its insulated interior keeps ice cold for up to five hours, helping maintain a supply between servings. The silver stainless steel finish complements a range of kitchen and bar setups.

## Key takeaways

This model combines nugget ice production with direct, lever-activated dispensing. The detachable 2.4-liter reservoir provides the water supply, while the ice-level indicator makes the remaining supply easy to monitor. Together, these features make it practical to keep chewable ice available for everyday drinks or a busy get-together.

Compared with filling trays and serving traditional cubes with a scoop, this appliance makes nugget ice on demand and dispenses it at the outlet. That distinction is useful when the texture matters, such as for smoothies and slushies, or when you want to serve several drinks without handling ice by hand. It’s designed for countertop use in homes, kitchens, offices, RVs, and home bars.

## Care & maintenance

A built-in self-cleaning cycle helps simplify routine upkeep. Press and hold the power button for five seconds to start the program, the cleaning cycle takes 10 minutes. When it’s time to empty the water, the drain plug provides a direct way to release it. These functions make day-to-day care easier to fit around kitchen routines and entertaining.

## When it makes sense

Choose the Kismile HZB-20DN when you want a countertop source of chewable nugget ice with convenient dispensing rather than a tray-based supply of standard cubes. It suits iced drinks at home, a home bar serving guests, or an office where people want to help themselves. The combination of a 2.4-liter reservoir, substantial daily ice output, and a visible ice-level indicator supports ongoing use, while the self-cleaning cycle and drain plug help keep maintenance manageable.
