## Description

## Size & fit

At 7 inches long and 3.5 inches wide, this black, pear-shaped spring snap hook offers a larger format for connecting ropes, straps, and other everyday gear. Its spring gate opens for quick attachment and closes to keep the connection in place. The carbon steel construction and smooth surface make it a practical choice for tasks around camp, home, or a travel kit.

Choose this larger clip when you need more room around an attachment point than a compact keychain-style clip provides. Its shape and spring closure suit quick connections for hanging and organizing gear.

## Pros

The spring gate is designed to open and close with one hand, making it convenient when attaching a feeder, securing a banner, or connecting a strap. The product description also identifies an electrophoresis process intended to help the carbon steel resist rust, wear, and corrosion. A smooth finish helps reduce snagging against fabric during handling.

The hook is listed for a range of uses, including camping, hiking, travel, boating, tents, pet harnesses, water bottles, and home or gym equipment. Buyers often describe the clips as sturdy and easy to open, and mention uses such as hanging bird feeders. Feedback on size varies, and opinions about the spring closure are mixed, so choose the clip based on the dimensions and connection task you have in mind.
