KingCamp Camping Blanket 20D Nylon

For a quick layer at a campsite or outdoor game, a packable blanket is easier to carry than a bulky throw. This one also fastens into a wearable wrap.

Its nylon shell and synthetic fill suit casual outdoor use, with a clear limit: the water-repellent finish is described for light rain, not extended wet weather.

The compact packed size is useful when space matters, while the blanket’s unfolded coverage gives you room to settle in at a picnic or stadium.

Key specifications

The blanket measures 68.9 x 53.2 inches unfolded and weighs 1.32 lbs. It packs into the included stuff sack at 13.78 x 6.3 x 6.3 inches, so it can fit into a travel or hiking setup without taking up the space of a full-size bedding item.

The shell is 20D ripstop nylon, and the fill is 150G/㎡ Warm Loft fiberfill. The listing describes the shell as water-resistant and windproof, with a coating that sheds light rain. That can help with a damp bench or a passing sprinkle, but it is not a substitute for rain gear in sustained rain. The synthetic fill is presented as an alternative to down and does not use animal materials.

Snap buttons let you fasten the blanket around your shoulders, leaving your hands free while you walk around a campsite or watch a game. It can also be used as a picnic mat, travel pillow, or emergency sleeping bag, though the listing doesn’t provide details such as temperature ratings for sleeping outdoors.

Who it’s for

A solid pick if you want one lightweight layer for campsite lounging, outdoor events, road trips, or a picnic, and you value being able to wear it as a wrap rather than holding it in place. Picture sitting on the sideline as the evening cools: the snaps can keep the blanket around your shoulders while your hands stay free.

It may suit people who prefer synthetic fill over down, too. You May want to skip it if your priority is a technical sleep system with a stated temperature rating, or reliable protection during heavy rain, neither is established by the product details. Compared with carrying a simple, non-packable throw, this one is easier to stow and has more than one listed use. A dedicated rain layer or insulated sleeping bag is the more relevant choice when weather protection or overnight warmth is the main need.

What’s included

The listed package includes the blanket and a stuff sack for packing it down. No other included accessories are specified. After a trip, the blanket is described as machine washable, which may be useful after use on grass or around pets, follow the care instructions supplied with the product.

Practical doubts

Can you wear it while moving around? The snap buttons allow it to be fastened like a shawl or cape, so it can stay on your shoulders while you walk around a campsite or watch an event.

Will it keep you dry in a downpour? The shell is described as water-repellent and able to shed light rain. The details don’t support treating it as heavy-rain protection.

Does it come with a way to carry it? Yes. A stuff sack is included, and the listed packed dimensions are 13.78 x 6.3 x 6.3 inches. It’s a practical fit for trips where a bulky blanket would be inconvenient, but its listed specs don’t establish how warm it will be for overnight sleeping.

Should you buy it?

Choose this KingCamp blanket for portable comfort during hikes, picnics, travel, and outdoor events, especially if the wearable snap design sounds more useful than a basic throw. Pass if you need proven cold-weather sleep performance or protection from prolonged rain. Its appeal is the combination of packability, versatile everyday uses, and light-rain resistance—not a stated rating for demanding conditions.
