KING BIRD RV Cover for 20-22ft Travel Trailers

Owners of 20-22ft travel trailers who store an RV outdoors through changing weather may find this cover worth a closer look. Its layered fabric, reinforced seams, wind-securing straps, and included tire covers are aimed at shielding a parked trailer from sun, rain, snow, dirt, and light surface wear. The stated fit range is useful, but it does not replace checking that your trailer’s shape and measurements work with the cover.

It also includes zippered access points, so getting inside does not have to mean removing the whole cover.

Where it shines

The cover’s main appeal is the combination of weather protection and practical access. KING BIRD describes a multilayer, rip-stop fabric with a water-resistant membrane tested to 3000mm, plus a reinforced, double-stitched top, edges, and corners. The listed tear strength is 600lb, and the fabric is described as blocking UV rays. Those details suit owners looking to cover a trailer between trips rather than leave it exposed to sun, rain, snow, and airborne dirt.

Two roll-up zippered doors provide access to the RV doors and engine areas. Two additional rear zippers are intended for toy hauler trailers, making it easier to load or unload larger items such as bikes or motorcycles. Six side vents are designed to reduce wind pressure, while reflective yellow panels can make the covered trailer more visible at night or when parked. Tire covers and adhesive repair patches are included, adding useful protection and a way to address small cover damage.

You’ll appreciate it if you want more than a basic tarp: for example, when the trailer is parked for a stretch and you need to reach the door without taking off the cover. If you prioritize straightforward, occasional coverage, a simpler cover may involve fewer access features, if you prefer a more secured setup, this one adds tension panels and extra straps.

What to know

The stated fit is for 20-22ft travel trailers, and the listing says it fits most RVs, but that is not the same as a universal fit. Trailer outlines and protruding accessories can affect how a cover sits, so match the cover to your specific vehicle before choosing it. From the way it is set up, the multiple straps and tension panels are meant to help secure the fabric in wind, but they do not make an outdoor cover immune to severe weather or wear.

The waterproofing and tear-resistance figures are product claims, not a guarantee that every seam or contact point will stay dry in every condition. A cover also adds a layer to handle when accessing the trailer, the zippered doors help, but they do not make it as unobstructed as leaving the RV uncovered. Better avoided if your trailer falls outside the stated fit range or you need a cover with confirmed compatibility for a particular layout that is not specified here.

Best use cases

This setup makes most sense for outdoor storage when protection from sun, precipitation, and dirt matters and you still want occasional access. The included tire covers extend the coverage beyond the trailer body, while the adhesive patches offer a repair option if the cover gets a small tear. The listing does not provide specific care or cleaning instructions, so avoid assuming that a particular washing method or storage routine is approved.

For a trailer kept in a garage, or one that is uncovered only briefly between trips, the added straps, access zippers, and tire covers may be more than you need. A simpler cover may be easier to manage in that situation. This one is better suited to owners who expect the RV to sit outdoors and value access features along with broad weather coverage.

Final verdict

The KING BIRD cover is worth considering if your travel trailer fits the stated 20-22ft range and you want a more feature-rich alternative to a basic protective sheet. Its access doors, rear zippers for toy haulers, vents, extra straps, tire covers, and repair patches make the package more useful for ongoing storage than a cover focused only on draping over the vehicle. The main reservation is fit: the listing does not give detailed measurements or confirm compatibility with a specific trailer shape. Buy it when the stated range matches your RV and the access features matter, skip it if you need a precisely verified fit or only want minimal coverage.
