KidBloom 778-50 Kids Tool Set, 50-Piece Construction Play Kit

A battery-powered toy drill with forward and reverse rotation gives pretend building a hands-on focus, while the included tool belt lets little builders keep tools close during play. The KidBloom 778-50 is a 50-piece construction set with a portable toolbox for storing and carrying the pieces.

For play that centers on building, the drill, belt, and varied tools create a more complete role-play setup than a small group of loose pretend tools. Children can take on a project at the play table, then put the pieces back in the box when they are done.

Quick overview

This set is made of ABS plastic and includes a toy drill, goggles, hammer, screwdriver, tape measure, and other construction-themed pieces. The adjustable tool belt has two large pockets and five tool slots, so children can carry selected tools as they move around their play space. Its stated adjustment range is 19.69–39.37 inches.

The toolbox provides a place to gather and carry the pieces, making cleanup part of the play routine. The set is designed for pretend construction play and supports activities such as sorting tools, acting out a repair, or imagining a building project. Buyers often describe the set as enjoyable and age-appropriate, while comments on durability are mixed.

Who it’s for

KidBloom presents this kit for young children, with the product title highlighting ages three to eight. The tools are sized for small hands, and the belt adds a wearable element for children who enjoy acting out a builder’s role. It can also give a parent and child a shared theme for imaginative play: choose a pretend project, select the tools, and take turns being the builder or helper.

Best use cases

Use the set for construction-themed pretend play at home, whether a child is “fixing” a toy, organizing tools for an imaginary job, or building a story around a project. The drill’s bidirectional rotation adds an interactive element to that role-play, and the belt helps keep a few favorite tools within reach instead of gathered in one place.

The toolbox is useful when play moves between rooms or when it is time to put the set away. Children can sort the tools into the box after a project, while the belt’s pockets and slots offer another way to organize pieces during play. The set’s combination of carry-and-store options suits children who like having a defined kit for their pretend work.
