## Description

For ice fishing, stream fishing, or other cold-weather outings, the KastKing IceRiver gloves are built to keep water out while maintaining a flexible feel. Need warmth and a steady hold in wet conditions? Their neoprene construction, fleece lining, and embossed palm bring those needs together in one fishing glove. The Prym1 Silver Mist X-Large size suits adult wearers looking for that specific fit and color.

## Getting the most from it

The gloves use 2.2mm neoprene with bound, stitched, and glued seams for waterproof construction. Inside, a 1mm polar fleece lining adds a layer of warmth for cold, wet conditions. That combination is useful when fishing involves repeated contact with water, such as handling gear beside an ice hole or standing along a cold stream.

An embossed pattern on the neoprene palm is designed to support grip in changing weather. The material is also described as staying pliable in extremely cold conditions, helping the gloves retain flexibility for fishing tasks. For outdoor chores or winter activities where wet hands are a concern, the waterproof build offers a different approach from choosing gloves mainly for insulation. The pull-on design keeps use straightforward, while the ambidextrous orientation allows either glove to be worn on either hand.

## Why it’s worth it

IceRiver combines water protection and warmth-focused details rather than relying on a fleece lining alone. That distinction matters for fishing, where gloves can encounter both cold air and water. The embossed palm adds a purpose-built contact surface for holding fishing gear, and the flexible neoprene is intended for use in low temperatures.

Buyers often describe the gloves as warm, comfortable, and useful for ice fishing, stream fishing, and other winter activities. Some also appreciate that the gloves feel insulating without being too bulky. Grip feedback is mixed: some buyers praise it, while others find the palm slippery on smooth items. These impressions can help set expectations for different tasks, while the embossed palm remains the product’s stated grip feature.

## The essentials

- Type: Fishing gloves
- Material: 2.2mm neoprene
- Lining: 1mm polar fleece
- Size: X-Large
- Color: Prym1 Silver Mist
- Closure: Pull-on
- Care: Hand wash only

The X-Large size and adult fit description make size selection a useful part of choosing this pair. After use, hand washing follows the stated care instructions. The neoprene build and fleece lining are the central features to weigh if you are choosing between a waterproof fishing glove and a glove focused on cold-weather insulation alone.

## When it makes sense

These gloves are suited to anglers who fish in cold, wet settings and want waterproof construction, a warm lining, and an embossed palm in the same pair. They also fit outdoor routines where flexible gloves can be useful, from streamside fishing to winter chores. If your priority is keeping hands protected from water while retaining a pliable feel in the cold, IceRiver’s 2.2mm neoprene and fleece-lined design make that use case clear. The X-Large Prym1 Silver Mist version brings those fishing-focused details in an adult-size option.
