## Description

For keyboard players who need sustain control for a MIDI keyboard or digital piano, the karmiero Pedal02 combines a traditional pedal action with a side-mounted polarity switch. Its 1/4-inch plug connects to a compatible sustain input, and the switch lets you adjust the pedal’s response to the keyboard.

Choose a dedicated sustain pedal when you want foot-operated sustain while keeping both hands on the keys. The Pedal02’s spring provides soft resistance for expressive playing, while its rubber bottom helps keep it steady on the floor.

## Product specs
- Type: Sustain pedal for keyboards and digital pianos
- Connection: 1/4-inch plug
- Polarity: Side switch for NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed)
- Materials: Alloy steel and plastic
- Color: Silver
- Cable: 91 inches
- Base: Non-slip rubber bottom

The polarity switch is a practical feature for adapting the pedal’s operation to a keyboard’s sustain input. Its metal-and-plastic construction pairs with a spring mechanism designed to provide a smooth, softly resistant pedal feel. The rubber underside helps limit unwanted movement as you play.

## How to use it
Connect the plug to the keyboard’s sustain input, turn on the keyboard, and press a key to check the pedal’s response. If the note sustains when the pedal is not pressed, move the side switch from NO to NC, or from NC to NO. Once the setting is right, place the pedal where it feels comfortable underfoot and use it to sustain notes while playing.

For example, during a chord change, you can press the pedal to let notes ring while your hands move to the next position. The spring action gives your foot a responsive pedal movement, and the polarity switch provides a straightforward adjustment when the keyboard responds in reverse.

## Tips for day-to-day use
Set the pedal on a firm floor surface and position it within easy reach before you start playing. The rubber base is designed to grip the floor and reduce sliding during use. Its 91-inch cable gives you room to position the pedal beneath the keyboard setup, while the 1/4-inch plug is intended for a compatible sustain input.

Buyers often highlight the pedal’s stable feel and quality, and some describe it as lightweight. Compatibility feedback is mixed, so the practical match is a keyboard with a suitable 1/4-inch sustain connection and a response that can be set with the NO/NC switch. This keeps the choice focused on the connection and pedal behavior your setup needs.

## When it makes sense
The Pedal02 is suited to players who want a dedicated sustain pedal for MIDI keyboards or digital pianos, including compatible Yamaha and Casio instruments. It brings together a responsive spring, a floor-gripping base, and an adjustable polarity switch in one pedal. If your priority is sustaining notes hands-free while playing, rather than adding a footswitch for a different function, this dedicated pedal offers a practical control for practice and performance at the keyboard.
