KAKAMAY Large Blanket Basket 20"x13"
Product description
This woven rope storage basket from KAKAMAY offers soft, breathable storage for blankets, toys, and laundry while blending into neutral home decor. Its large size and gentle materials make it useful in living rooms, nurseries, and bedrooms for keeping throws, pillows, and baby items organized, with the main benefit of being both decorative and functional.
Key Points
Made from 100% cotton rope, this large blanket basket is handmade and free from plastics and harsh chemicals according to the manufacturer. The design combines a soft, pliable body with enough structure to keep its shape when filled. It arrives folded and regains its form quickly when stuffed with towels or blankets. Consider that machine washing is possible in a laundry bag on a delicate cycle, but air drying is recommended to preserve the rope texture.

Benefits
The cotton construction gives the basket a soft touch that is safe for children and pets while avoiding rough synthetic scrubbing. Because it is handmade, the basket has a tactile, woven finish that complements neutral and farmhouse-style interiors. It is foldable for compact storage when not in use, and it will not develop sharp edges that could snag baby clothing or soft toys. The neutral white and beige tones make it easy to coordinate with existing furnishings without drawing too much attention.
Usage Recommendations
Use this basket as a laundry hamper for small loads or as a toy chest to contain stuffed animals and board games. It also functions well as a throw and pillow holder in a living room or a dedicated storage piece in a nursery for diapers and blankets. Fill it with soft items immediately after unpacking to help it expand back into shape. For cleaning, place the basket in a laundry bag before a delicate machine wash or opt for hand washing, and then let it dry naturally to retain its original feel and structure.
Practical Notes
The rope weave may show wrinkles after shipping that smooth out when the basket is filled. The manufacturer notes the basket is durable and resistant to fraying, though heavy or abrasive items could reduce longevity over extended use. This piece emphasizes gentle materials and ease of handling rather than rigid support, so it may not be the best option when firm, stackable storage is required.
