## Description

## Tech summary

The 5-foot braided cord gives this compact charging station reach from a wall outlet to a bedside table or desk. Its three AC outlets and four USB ports let you power or charge up to seven devices from one unit. A 45-degree flat plug helps it sit close to the wall, making it useful behind furniture or in a compact workspace.

- Format: 3 AC outlets and 4 USB ports
- Cord: 5 feet, braided, 14 AWG copper
- USB output: 24W total, 5V/4.8A, each USB-C port supports up to 5V/2.4A
- AC rating: 125V, 13A, up to 1,625W
- Surge protection: 1,080 joules
- Dimensions: 4.3 x 3.3 x 1.1 inches
- Use: Indoor

The USB ports can charge devices such as phones, tablets, earbuds, and smartwatches, while the AC outlets accommodate equipment with a standard three-prong plug. Smart charging technology detects connected devices to manage USB charging. The USB-C ports are not Quick Charge 3.0 and do not support devices that require 9–22V charging. For devices that use separate wall adapters, the USB ports offer a way to reduce the need for individual USB power bricks.

## Requirements

Use the strip indoors and keep it dry, with good ventilation. The total AC load must stay within 13A and 1,625W, avoid connecting high-power appliances or plugging one extension cord into another. The USB output is rated at 24W total, so keep connected USB devices within that capacity. Use suitable charging cables and keep liquids and foreign objects away from the ports.

Surge protection is rated at 1,080 joules, providing a documented layer of protection for connected electronics against power surges. The grounded three-prong plug is designed for a matching outlet. Its flat, angled profile can help keep the lower receptacle of a duplex wall outlet accessible, while the 5-foot cord gives more placement flexibility than a short, direct-plug charger.

## Who it’s for

This setup suits a bedside table, dorm room, home office, or desk where several devices need power in one place. For example, a phone and smartwatch can use the USB ports overnight while a lamp or laptop charger occupies an AC outlet. The same mix is handy at a shared desk: USB-powered accessories and plug-in equipment can draw from a single wall connection, helping keep charging points together.

Buyers appreciate having both regular outlets and USB ports in one charging station and describe it as useful across settings such as offices and dorm rooms. Some also report buzzing and early failures of USB-C ports or standard sockets. These comments reflect individual experiences, the listed features remain the practical basis for choosing the unit.

## Should you buy it?

Choose the kakahigh 771 when you want one indoor power hub that combines three AC outlets, four USB ports, a 5-foot braided cord, and surge protection. Compared with relying on a basic AC-only power strip plus separate USB wall chargers, this layout brings both kinds of connections together in a compact footprint. It’s a practical fit for a bedside or work surface with a mix of USB devices and standard plug-in electronics, provided the connected load stays within its ratings.
