Jumbo C9 Christmas Pathway Lights, 5 Bulbs

Key specifications

A dark walkway can be hard to see once holiday gatherings move outdoors. These Jumbo C9 Christmas pathway lights add a row of colorful bulbs along a lawn or path, with stakes to keep them in place and hooks for other display setups. The set has five covered multicolor bulbs on a green wire, with an 8-foot lighting length and 10.5 feet of total cord.

Each bulb is spaced 24 inches apart, and the pathway markers are 10.8 inches tall. The outer C9 bulb covers measure 7.4 x 3.8 inches, the lights are made from PS and use E12-compatible sockets. The strand is connectable, with up to 86 strands listed as connectable for larger displays. The AC plug itself is not waterproof, so it needs protection from rain.

Who it’s for

These lights suit someone who wants larger, visible bulbs lining a short path, garden edge, or section of lawn rather than a fine, closely packed string of lights. For example, place the stakes beside a walkway and let the multicolor bulbs mark the route from the yard to the door. The included hooks also allow the set to be hung from a roof, window, or fence instead of being used only as pathway markers.

It suits you if you want a small outdoor holiday display with replaceable bulbs and the option to connect additional strands. From the way it is set up, the stakes and hooks offer more placement flexibility than a basic string intended only for wrapping around a tree. Not the best choice if you need a waterproof plug or a long illuminated run from a single set, the lit section is 8 feet, and the plug requires weather protection.

Box contents

The package includes the light strand with five covered multicolor C9 bulbs, five hooks, one spare bulb, and one spare fuse. Damaged bulbs can be unscrewed from their holders and replaced, while the spare fuse provides a replacement for a blown fuse. That makes basic upkeep more straightforward than with a sealed string, though the instructions describe replacing the bulb and fuse rather than offering a broader repair kit.

Questions before you buy

Can the strands be connected? Yes. The product information says up to 86 strands can be connected, which may help when decorating a larger area. Keep in mind that this set’s own lit length is 8 feet.

Can the set stay outside in the rain? The lights are described as waterproof and rain-tested, but the AC plug is specifically not waterproof. It should be protected from rain, so plan the outlet and plug placement accordingly.

Can you replace a burned-out bulb? Yes. The bulb can be removed from its outer cover and unscrewed from the E12-compatible holder, a spare bulb and fuse are included.

Final verdict

Choose this set if five prominent multicolor bulbs, stake placement, and the ability to connect additional strands fit your holiday layout. It offers more flexibility than a fixed, stake-only path light because the included hooks support alternate hanging locations. Skip it if your setup depends on an exposed plug in wet weather or needs a long illuminated stretch without adding more strands. The key decision is whether its short lit section and plug-protection requirement work for the exact spot you want to decorate.
