## Description

Connect a USB-A flash drive, mouse, or keyboard to a USB-C phone, tablet, or laptop with the JSAUX CD0019 adapter. Its USB-C male connector and USB-A female port let you use supported peripherals with a USB-C device, making it a practical bridge when you want to keep using accessories you already own.

The two-adapter set supports USB OTG and USB 3.0 data transfer up to 5Gbps, with backward compatibility for USB 2.0. The short, 0.5-foot braided cable has an aluminum-alloy housing, and the adapter is designed for data transfer rather than video output.

## Technical overview

This adapter connects a USB-C device to a standard USB-A accessory. With OTG support, a compatible phone or tablet can access files on a USB drive, while a laptop can connect peripherals such as a mouse, keyboard, or hub. It is useful for moving files between devices or adding a wired accessory without replacing it with a USB-C version.

USB 3.0 transfer speeds are listed up to 5Gbps, and the connection is backward compatible with USB 2.0. Actual transfer speed can also depend on the USB drive or external storage device. The adapter does not carry HDMI, VGA, or other video signals, so it is intended for data and peripheral connections rather than connecting a display.

The cable uses a nylon braid and an aluminum-alloy shell. Its compact 0.5-foot length offers a short link between the device and accessory, while the braided exterior helps keep the cable manageable for everyday use. Compatibility examples include USB-C MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models, iPad, iPhone, Samsung Galaxy phones, and other devices that support USB OTG.

Buyers often describe the adapter as straightforward to connect, with useful compatibility across devices and a snug connection. Some also report that an adapter stopped working, so experiences with reliability are mixed. These comments are useful context alongside the practical appeal of having a pair of adapters for everyday USB-A connections.

## Usage tips

For file access, connect a USB-A flash drive to the female port, then plug the adapter into a USB-C device that supports OTG. For a laptop setup, use the same connection to attach a compatible mouse or keyboard. This approach suits someone who wants to keep using familiar USB-A accessories instead of replacing them solely to match a USB-C port.

When transferring files, the USB 3.0 rating provides a transfer path of up to 5Gbps, the storage device’s own capabilities also affect the result. For display connections, choose a video-capable solution instead, since this adapter is for data and peripherals and does not transmit video.

## What's included

The set includes two JSAUX USB-C male to USB-A female adapters. Keeping one at a desk and another with a travel kit can make it easier to connect USB-A accessories wherever a compatible USB-C device is being used.

## Final verdict

The JSAUX CD0019 is a useful choice for connecting USB-A storage and peripherals to a USB-C device that supports OTG. Its 5Gbps USB 3.0 data-transfer rating, compact braided cable, and two-adapter pack make it especially suited to everyday file access and peripheral connections at home, at work, or on the go.
